Estos mensajes tienen una influencia positiva o negativa sobre su conducta. El objetivo de este estudio empírico ha sido analizar las relaciones entre la agresividad física y verbal de los hijos y las hijas y el estilo de crianza practicado por el padre y por la madre. Se ha realizado sobre una muestra de 2.788 alumnos entre 10 y 15 años, que cursan el tercer ciclo de Educación Primaria (44 por ciento) y el primer ciclo de Educación Secundaria (56 por ciento). El papel de las familias es muy importante en la educación de sus hijos a todos los niveles. Por ello, distintas administraciones y entidades llevan a cabo propuestas que tratan de apoyarlas o atender sus necesidades. Con este fin, desde los centros escolares sería conveniente que se implementaran programas de educación familiar de calidad. En este libro se presenta una investigación llevada a cabo para elaborar y evaluar la pertinencia de un programa educativo familiar que persigue ayudar a las familias a promover desde casa el éxito escolar de sus hijos.

The present study seeks to define and contrast an explanatory model of motivational climate, school adjustment and family functioning, and to analyse the existing associations between the aforementioned variables through structural equation analysis. The sample includes 2,134 adolescents aged 12 to 18 years from the province of Granada. Motivational climate (PMCSQ-2), school adjustment (EBAE-10) and family functioning (APGAR) are analysed. A descriptive cross-sectional design is used and the program AMOS 23.0 is employed to construct the multi-group structural equation model. We sequenced a part of the mitochondrial cytochrome-b gene from the seven treecreeper species, including 18 subspecies, to reconstruct the phylogeny of the genus Certhia. Species status of all seven species could be affirmed. Certhia discolor, C. himalayana, C. nipalensis, and C. tianquanensis, the species with relatively small distribution ranges in southeast Asia and simple territorial song, are found at the base of all phylogenetic trees, although without good support. Studies on individual reproductive success in relation to interspecific competition between distantly related taxa are scarce. We studied whether the abundance of red wood ants Formica rufa -group is related to the breeding habitat selection, fecundity and offspring quality in the Eurasian treecreeper Certhia familiaris, an old-growth forest passerine. The nest-box occupancy data were gathered over a five-year study period, whereas the breeding performance analyses were based on a two-year data set.
