International audience; Flavescence dorée is a serious and incurable vine disease transmitted by an insect vector. Focusing on its spatial diffusion and on its control with pesticides, this paper investigates the private strategies of wine producers and their socially optimal counterparts. The socially optimal regulation has to address two externalities regarding private treatment decisions: (a) the insufficient consideration of collective benefits from controlling the vector populations; (b) the failure to take into account environmental damage related to pesticide application. La cultura del cannabis treinta años después... unas reflexiones personales

En la primera parte del articulo se expone una síntesis de lo que fue la "cultura del hachís", que aglutinó a los jipis catalanes a finales de los sesenta, y que el autor estudió a principios de los años ochenta. En el punto siguiente, se sintetizan los principales elementos de la actual "cultura del cannabis" en España, haciendo hincapié en el movimiento social que la sustenta.Y en la discusión posterior se constatan las discontinuidades y continuidades entre ambos momentos históricos. Entre estas últimas, se subraya el ambivalente lugar del cannabis, entre la normalización social y su uso como "pretexto represivo", tanto en el campo de la política como en el de la salud.

Introduction We have reported that some 4-nitrosopyrazoles derivatives displayed in vitro and in vivo potent antifungal activity at no cytotoxic concentration and some of these compounds were 4 times more potent than Amphotericine B and Fluconazole respectively against Cryptococcus Neoformans and C. Cytisine (CYT) has emerged as a promising molecule to treat nicotine addiction, since it acts as a partial agonist of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. However, its unfavorable pharmacokinetic properties lead to multiple administrations per day, reducing the patient’s compliance and increasing the side effects.
