Medicinal plants have been used as a source of remedies since ancient times in Egypt. The present study was designed to investigate the antibacterial activity and the cytotoxicity of the organic extracts from 16 selected medicinal plants of Egypt. The study was also extended to the isolation of the antiproliferative compound jaeschkeanadiol p-hydroxybenzoate (FH-25) from Ferula hermonis. Esta tesis trata de una investigación cualitativa que analiza cómo las y los doce adolescentes (06 chicas y 06 chicos), con edades entre 15 y 18 años, oriundos de comunidades de renta-baja de Recife/Pernambuco-Brasil abordan el tema de las relaciones amorosas y de la violencia de género, desde una perspectiva feminista y de género. Se tiene en cuenta las idiosincrasias que el sistema patriarcal, heteronormativo y capitalista provoca en las formas de ser-estar adolescentes en la actualidad, las cuales resultan limitadoras, especialmente en contextos de vulnerabilidad.
