The Path from Ethical Organisational Culture to Employee Commitment : Mediating Roles of Value Congruence and Work Engagement

Following the Job Demands-Resources model’s motivational process, this study investigates the role of person-organisation fit and work engagement as mediating processes between ethical culture and employee commitment, where ethical culture is seen as an organisational resource. It was expected that the stronger the ethical values and practices are experienced to be, the more compatible employees feel with the organisation. A good person-organisation fit was further hypothesised to act as a personal job resource for the employees, who would consequently experience higher work engagement leading to stronger affective commitment and less turnover intentions. The evaluation of soccer players’ physical fitness from youth onward is important for monitoring performance and planning training. While health-related factors present valid and reliable tests, the skill-related component should be studied in depth. Zanieczyszczenie metalami ciężkimi Matricaria chamomilla L. i Plantago lanceolata L

Celem badań była ocena zanieczyszczenia metalami ciężkimi (Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd i Pb) rumianku lekarskiego (Matricaria chamomilla L.) i babki lancetowatej (Plantago lanceolata L.). W ramach biomonitoringu pasywnego pobrano próbki roślin leczniczych oraz próbki gleby, na której rosły rośliny. Metale ciężkie oznaczono za pomocą absorpcyjnej spektrometrii atomowej (AAS). Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań można stwierdzić, że zioła wykorzystane do badań różniły się pod względem stężeń metali ciężkich w zależności od miejsca ich pobierania. Celem przeprowadzonych badań była ocena fitokumulacji metali ciężkich w wybranych gatunkach ziół. Do badań pobrano pięć gatunków ziół wieloletnich: Mentha piperita L., Mentha rotundifolia (L.) Huds., Melissa officinalis L., Origanum vulgare, Rosmarinus officinalis, Thymus vulgaris L. Z poletka doświadczalnego położonego w Opolu (południowo-zachodnia Polska) pobrano próbki liści ziół oraz pięć zintegrowanych próbek gleby.
