Abstract The aerial parts of Hypericum reflexum contain six xanthones, two pyranoxanthones, two xanthonolignoids and a biphenyl. Six of these compounds are described for the first time.

This work introduces a compact DC model developed for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) and its SPICE implementation. The model relies on a modified version of the gradual channel approximation that takes into account the contact effects, occurring at nonohmic metal/organic semiconductor junctions, modeling them as reverse biased Schottky diodes. The model also comprises channel length modulation and scalability of drain current with respect to channel length. To show the suitability of the model, we used it to design an inverter and a ring oscillator circuit. In questo lavoro vengono presentati e confrontati i risultati ottenuti con tre differenti codici (FLEXPART, CALPUFF e ldX) per il trasporto atmosferico di inquinanti radioattivi. I codici vengono confrontati su una singola simulazione di un possibile rilascio incidentale alla stazione frontaliera di Gösgen (CH), in condizioni meteorologiche sfavorevoli per il territorio italiano. Analysing longitudinal turbulence intensity in vegetated channels

Vegetation altering hydrodynamic conditions of an open channel flow controls the exchanges of sediment, nutrients and contaminants. In this paper the turbulence structure of open-channel flow over a flexible grass vegetation is investigated. Velocity measurements were carried out, in a rectangular flume, using a 2D-ADV (Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter) for different values of stem concentration, water discharge, and bed slope. A partir de Platón se desarrolla en la reflexión gramatical y filosófica griega la idea de que ciertos vocablos tienen un origen onomatopéyico, tomándose como modelo de su uso (tanto por su conveniencia como por su condena) su aparición en el epos homérico. Mientras la filosofía vinculará tales palabras, entendidas como onomatopeyas, al origen del lenguaje, los autores de poética y gramática las estudiarán como elementos significativos en la valoración estética de la poesía. La doctrina griega sobre la onomatopeya pasará, a su vez, a las letras latinas.
