Step-by-Step Growth of HKUST-1 on Functionalized TiO2 Surface: An Efficient Material for CO2 Capture and Solar Photoreduction

The present study reports on a simple preparation strategy of a hybrid catalyst, TiO2/HKUST-1, containing TiO2 anatase nanoparticles (NPs) with tailored morphology and photocatalytic activity coupled with a porous metal-organic framework (MOF), namely HKUST-1, as an advanced material for the CO2 photocatalytic reduction. In detail, TiO2/HKUST-1 catalyst was prepared via an easy slow-diffusion method combined with a step-by-step self-assembly at room temperature. An experimental test at the intersection of quantum physics and general relativity is proposed: measurement of relativistic frame dragging and geodetic precession using intrinsic spin of electrons. The behavior of intrinsic spin in spacetime dragged and warped by a massive rotating body is an experimentally open question, hence the results of such a measurement could have important theoretical consequences. Such a measurement is possible by using mm-scale ferromagnetic gyroscopes in orbit around the Earth. The planar two-body problem for spheroids and disks

We outline a new method suggested by Conway (2016) for solving the two-body problem for solid bodies of spheroidal or ellipsoidal shape. The method is based on integrating the gravitational potential of one body over the surface of the other body. When the gravitational potential can be analytically expressed (as for spheroids or ellipsoids), the gravitational force and mutual gravitational potential can be formulated as a surface integral instead of a volume integral, and solved numerically. Šim mērķim tika pētīts volframa oksīda un vara kombinētas plānās kārtiņas pārklājums uz PET substrāta, kura struktūras parametru pamatā ir caurspīdīgs ap 120 nm biezs volframa oksīda slānis ar tam virsū uzklātu 20 nm vara slāni, kas, savukārt, ir apsegts ar 120 nm volframa oksīda slāni – WOx/Cu/WOx. Identification of a mannoprotein present in the inner layer of the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Cell wall extracts from the double-mutant mnn1 mnn9 strain were used as the immunogen to obtain a monoclonal antibody (MAb), SAC A6, that recognizes a specific mannoprotein--which we have named Icwp--in the walls of cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Icwp runs as a polydisperse band of over 180 kDa in sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis analysis of Zymolyase extracts of cell walls, although an analysis of the secretory pattern of the mannoprotein shows that at the level of secretory vesicles, it behaves like a discrete band of 140 kDa. Este trabajo analiza la estrategia comunicativa de Ciudadanos para la difusión de sus spots en Twitter durante la campaña de las elecciones generales del 26 de julio de 2016. En la investigación se emplean técnicas de análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo, estas se basan en el modelo discursivo de encuadre de Gallardo-Paúls (2014, 2021) que aquí adaptamos, identificando categorías específicas del lenguaje audiovisual. Bifurcations of links of periodic orbits in non-singular Morse - Smale systems on

The set of periodic orbits of a non-singular Morse - Smale (NMS) flow on defines a link; a characterization of all possible links of NMS flows on has been developed by Wada. In the frame of codimension-one bifurcations, this characterization allows us to study the restrictions a link requires for suffering a given bifurcation. We also derive the topological description of the new link and the possibility of relating links by a chain of this type of bifurcation.

Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) have received significant attention in recent years in the areas of biomedical and environmental applications. Among them, mixed metal MOFs, although promising, are relatively few in number in comparison with their homometallic analogues. The employment of benzophenone-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid (bphdcH2) in mixed metal MOF chemistry provided access to a 3D MOF, [Na2Zn(bphdc)2(DMF)2]n (NUIG1).
