La tesi doctoral “Atlas Lingüístico de la Península Ibérica (ALPI): Estudi i edició del País Valencià” pretén recuperar un material lingüístic (fonètic, morfosintàctic i lèxic) inèdit recollit al País Valencià entre 1934 (pobles castellanoparlants) i 1935 (pobles valencianoparlants) per investigadors de la talla de M. Sanchis Guarner i F. de B. Moll. La recuperació d’aquest material està feta de forma digital, escrita (edició de les enquestes) i il·lustrada per mapes lingüístics (cartografia selectiva). Isotopic composition of cattle pancreatic stones: biological and geochemical implications.

Latitudinal variations of the O18/O16-ratios of carbonate and phosphate of cattle pancreatic stones parallel a similar pattern of oxygen isotope values in rain water. C13/C12-ratios were virtually identical for the 7 cases studied. Isotopic measurements of mammalian hard tissues may be used for studying short-term climatic variations through Quaternary.

This article looks at how the organization of the education system and the pathways leading to higher education enable social mobility or on the contrary the reproduction of inequalities. We thus compare three countries: France, Switzerland, and Canada. The results using panel data in these three countries show two different situations. The more higher education is valued rather than vocational training, the more inequalities tend to increase. The competition is such that it is the youth with a privileged social background who benefit more from its expansion. Despite their different histories as countries of immigration, Switzerland, France and Canada all have a sizeable immigrant population, some of which do experience obstacles in their educational and professional careers. On the one hand, France and Switzerland offer both academic and vocational routes to higher education, whereas academic routes prevail in Canada. In this paper the authors clarify not only if, but also how - through which institutional settings - higher education is accessed by students from vulnerable immigrant groups. Abstract Background A large proportion of women with breast cancer (BC) are elderly. However, there is a lack of information regarding BC prognostic factors and care in this population. The aims of this study were to assess the prognostic factors of relative survival (RS) among women with BC aged ≥ 75 years old and to identify the predictive factors of treatments administered to this population.
