Process-Optimized Minimally Invasive Total Hip Replacement via a Direct Anterior Approach with Navigation Control of Leg Length and Offset

The purpose of this study was to analyze a new concept of using the minimally invasive direct anterior approach (DAA) in total hip replacement (THR) in combination with a leg positioner (Rotex-Table) and a modified retractor system (Condor). To control leg length and offset, the navigation system OrthoPilot® (B. Braun, Aesculap) or the Medacta system was used. Returns To Education During And After The Economic Crisis: Evidence From Latvia 2006–2012

We employ EU-SILC micro data for Latvia to study how returns to education changed during the economic crisis of 2008–2009 and afterwards. We found that returns to education increased significantly during the crisis and decreased slightly during the subsequent economic recovery. The counter-cyclical effect was evident in nearly all population groups. After the crisis, education became more associated than before with a longer working week and a higher employment probability. Lo scopo del lavoro è quello di misurare il tempo e la distanza di regolazione di un sistema per l’applicazione di fattori produttivi a dosi spazialmente variabili, progettato, sviluppato, messo a punto e già sperimentato positivamente per il diserbo dalla Sezione Meccanica del Dipartimento I.T.A.F. Tale sistema è stato sperimentato per la concimazione spazialmente variabile, installando, su uno spandiconcime ad azione centrifuga a due dischi di distribuzione opportunamente modificato, due diversi tipi di attuatori, collegati al sistema di regolazione delle luci di caduta del concime.
