Introduction: In this chapter, I will summarize the literature on how music and altered states of consciousness (ASC) are connected. Essential aspects include induction and expression of emotions and rhythmic body movements to music and how an altered experience of music is connected to states of altered temporality. Winkelman (2000) stressed the human capacity for experiencing ASC as a fundamental biological function. Eponihijs un kutikula bieži tiek maldīgi uztverti kā ekvavilentas naga vienības daļas. Nepareizi veikta manikīra procedūra, kuras laikā tiek apgriezts eponihijs, var izraisīt nagu infekciju vai vīrusu slimību. Šī darba mērķis ir izprast nagu kopšanas tendences Latvijā un noskaidrot manikīra meistaru un viņu klientu, kā arī aptiekās strādājošo farmācijas speciālistu izpratni par naga vienības anatomiju un nekorekti veiktas manikīra procedūras sekām. Pētījumam tika izmantota anketēšana un saņemtas 307 derīgas anketas. Curcumin is a natural molecule with proved anticancer efficacy on several human cancer cell lines. However, its clinical application has been limited due to its poor bioavailability. Nanocarrier-based drug delivery approaches could make curcumin dispersible in aqueous media, thus overtaking the limits of its low solubility.
