Dane na temat rozprzestrzeniania się inwazyjnego gatunku Oxycarenus lavaterae (Fabricius, 1787) (Heteroptera: Lygaeoidea: Oxycarenidae) w południowo-…
2019
Oxycarenus lavaterae (Fabricius, 1787), the invasive true bug species, were recorded from Poland for the first time in 2014 (SE Poland, Rzeszów; Hebda & Olbrycht, 2016). Since that time it was recorded also in Cieszyn (Western Beskid Mts) and Brzeg (Lower Silesia) in August 2018 (Gierlasiński et al., 2018). In October, November and December 2018 and January 2019, many new populations of this species were reported in south-west regions of Poland (Lower Silesia: Jawor, Legnica, Nysa, Opole, Oława, Racibórz, Świdnica, Wrocław; Upper Silesia: Zdzieszowice) what confirms the species expansion to the north of Poland.
Materiały do rozmieszczenia pluskwiaków różnoskrzydłych (Hemiptera: Heteropte-ra) wybranych obszarów Polski: Podlasie, Puszcza Białowieska, Wyżyna Lu…
2019
Eastern part of Poland is unevenly examined according to distribution of terrestrial true-bugs. Among well studied zoogeographical regions (Wyżyna Lubelska, Beskid Wschodni, Roztocze), true-bugs fauna of others like Podlasie and Nizina Sandomierska is poorly documented. The paper presents new faunistic data on the occurrence of true-bugs Heteroptera in Eastern Poland. Localities were scattered in 17 UTM squares in five zoogeographical regions: Podlasie, Puszcza Białowieska, Wyżyna Lubelska, Nizina Sandomierska and Roztocze. In total we present the data concerning 58 true-bug species. Ceratocombus coleoptratus and Microporus nigrita are listed for the first time from Podlasie, whilst Piloph…
Pierwsze stwierdzenie Liorhyssus hyalinus (Fabricius, 1794) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Rhopalidae) na Nizinie Mazowieckiej
2018
Liorhyssus hyalinus (Fabricius, 1794) (Rhopalidae) was collected for the first time in Mazovian Lowland (Warsaw, Białołęka district). It is the fourth known locality of this species in Poland
Pierwsze dane na temat występowania lądowych pluskwiaków różnoskrzydłych (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) na terenie Zabrza (Górny Śląsk)
2016
The first records on the occurrence of terrestrial true bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) in Zabrze (Upper Silesia)]. A list of 25 species of Heteroptera from Zabrze (Upper Silesia) is presented as results of faunistic studies conducted in 2015-2016. All species have been collected for the first time in this city.
Nowe stanowiska pluskwiaków różnoskrzydłych (Heteroptera) rzadko wykazywanych z Polski
2017
New records of Heteroptera rarely collected in Poland are presented, i.e. Amphiareus obscuriceps (Poppius, 1909) – first record in Lower Silesia, second locality in Poland, Himacerus (Anaptus) major (A. Costa, 1842) – new to Lower Silesia, Prostemma aeneicolle Stein, 1857 – second locality in Lower Silesia, Pygolampis bidentata (Goeze, 1778) – first record in Lower Silesia after 70 years break, Heterogaster cathariae (Geoffroy, 1785) – first record in Lower Silesia, second locality in Poland, Orsillus depressus (Mulsant et Rey, 1852) – second locality in Lower Silesia, Metapoplax origani (Kolenati, 1845) – new to Lower Silesia, Oxycarenus pallens (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1850) – first record in …
Dichrooscytus gustavi Josifov, 1981 (Heteroptera: Miridae) – pierwsze potwierdzone stanowisko w Polsce / Dichrooscytus gustavi Josifov, 1981 (Heterop…
2019
Dichrooscytus gustavi differs from D. rufipennis and D. intermedius primarily by a smaller size of the body and the entirely green scutellum. Its occurrence has been confirmed so far in more than ten European countries, where it was reported to live on Juniperus communis L. and also on different introduced species of Cupressaceae. In this note the first locality of this species in Poland is presented. Moreover, the authors explain a reason why D. valesianus [= at present D. gustavi] was removed from the list of species occurring in Poland (in the 2011’s Catalogue of Miridae of Poland), and suggest a possibility of the presence of D. gustavi in Poland as early as the first half of the …
Nowe stanowiska Sthenarus rotermundi (Scholtz, 1847) (Heteroptera: Miridae) w Polsce z uwagami o morfologii gatunku / New records of Sthenarus roterm…
2020
This article presents two new records of Sthenarus rotermundi (Scholtz, 1847) in Poland, i.e., Warsaw (Mazowiecka Lowland), and Brzeg (Lower Silesia), with a summary on distribution of this species in our country. Detailed photos of several morphological characters of this species are included, namely the colour pattern of hind femur, shape of the head and tylus, hemelytral pilosity, and a shape of aedeagus. Moreover, the validity of some morphological characters used in widely available keys for separation of S. rotermundi and Salicarius roseri (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1838) are discussed. Both, morphological illustrations and remarks, are presented in order to make the identification of mentio…

Moreover, Dicyphus annulatus (Wolff, 1804) is recorded for the second time in Poland.
Badania faunistyczne nad lądowymi pluskwiakami różnoskrzydłymi (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) w Polsce: rys historyczny i perspektywy [Faunistic researches…
2019
This paper presents the history of research on terrestrial true-bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) in Poland, the current state of knowledge and perspectives in future faunistic studies in our country. Cimex lectularius was the first species of Heteroptera recorded from the present territory of Poland; it was listed in „Theriotropheum Silesiae” by Caspar Schwenkfeld (1603) from Silesia. In the XIXth century the number of Heteroptera species records from the present territory of Poland increased rapidly, mainly due to the faunistic studies by both, German (Weigel 1806; Schilling 1827, 1837; Gravenhorst 1836; Siebold 1839; Scholtz 1847; Schramm 1848; Assmann 1854) and Polish (Gorski 18…

This paper summarises the distribution of eleven species of the family Reduviidae in Poland basing on literature data and new re-cords. Coranus aethiops is for the first time reported from Poland. Moreover, the key for identification of species occurring in Poland is also provided. High quality graphics have been prepared for each species, and in some cases, photos from nature were also included.
