Bakalaura darba ietvaros pētīta klimata pārmaiņu ietekme uz ābeles Malus domestica fenoloģisko fāžu iestāšanās mainību Pūres Dārzkopības izmēģinājumu stacijā no 1959. gada līdz 2019. gadam. Viena no tautsaimniecības nozarēm, kuru klimata pārmaiņas ietekmē visvairāk ir lauksaimniecība, tajā skaitā arī augļkopība. Latvijā ir pētīta klimata pārmaiņu ietekme uz lauksaimniecības kultūraugiem, lauksaimniecību un mežsaimniecību kopumā, taču klimata pārmaiņu ietekme uz ābeļu fenoloģisko fāžu iestāšanos pētīta maz. Maģistra darba ietvaros tika pētītas iespējas izstrādāt inovatīvus sorbentus uz mālu minerālu bāzes p-nitrofenola sorbcijai, izmantojot mālu modifikāciju ar virsmas aktīvām vielām un silīcijorganiskiem savienojumiem. Latvijas dabiskie mālieži un rūpnieciski ražotais montmorilonīts tika izvēlēti, lai izvērtētu un salīdzinātu modifikācijas efektivitāti p-nitrofenola sorbcijai. AbstractThis article reports on a phenomenographic investigation into practitioners’ conceptions of ethical practice in social networking in career services. The results show that ethical practice was conceived as stemming from: (1) an information orientation, (2) a networking orientation, (3) an educational orientation, and (4) a collaborative orientation. Differences appeared along six dimensions including: approach, activities, level of usage, perception, strategy and ethical principles. The results show that conceptions of systems development in lifelong guidance varied from minimal, aspirational, strategic to systemic. Anotācija Fenomenoloģiskajā filosofijā laika problēma veido vienu no centrālajiem tās aspektiem. Aplūkojot Huserla fenomenoloģijā sniegtās atbildes uz šo problēmu, tiek secināts, ka tās nespēj sniegt apmierinošu risinājumu, jo balstās problemātiskās premisās, un tiek piedāvāta jauna laikapziņas koncepcija, kuras centrā ir „tagad” kā kvalitatīva vienība. Darbā tiek aizstāvēta tēze, ka laikapziņu neveido tīri formāla pēctecīgu, viens otru izslēdzošu „tagad” momentu virkne, neatkarīga no šo momentu piepildošajiem saturiem, bet gan kvalitatīvu vienību savstarpēja daļēja pārklāšanās.

Early warning for VHE gamma-ray flares with the ARGO-YBJ detector

Detecting and monitoring emissions from flaring gamma-ray sources in the very-high-energy (VHE, > 100 GeV) band is a very important topic in gamma-ray astronomy. The ARGO-YBJ detector is characterized by a high duty cycle and a wide field of view. Therefore, it is particularly capable of detecting flares from extragalactic objects. Based on fast reconstruction and analysis, real-time monitoring of 33 selected VHE extragalactic sources is implemented. Flares exceeding a specific threshold are reported timely, hence enabling the follow-up observation of these objects using more sensitive detectors, such as Cherenkov telescopes.
