Bakalaura darbā „Penkules evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas vēsture” tika pētīta baznīcas un tās draudzes vēsture laika posmā no baznīcas celšanas 1865.gada līdz mūsdienām. Darbā galvenokārt apskatīta baznīcas celšanas vēsture, tās mācītāju un draudzes darbība dažādos laika posmos. Darba gaitā secināts, ka Penkules ev. lut. baznīcas un draudzes dzīve bijusi notikumiem bagātīga, kā arī jāpiemin tas, ka par šo tēmu bija pieejams salīdzinoši maz informācijas daudzums, no kura bija jāizveido detalizēts apraksts par Penkules baznīcu un draudzi. Izveidotais darbs palīdzētu apzināt un saglabāt aizmirstos kultūras pieminekļus Latvijas teritorijā.

Abstract Key parameters for microparticle-based parenteral depot formulation development are entrapment efficiency and sustained drug release, which both depend on the intermolecular affinity of the components. Here, partial solubility parameters were evaluated as descriptors for 21 drug substances and 3 polymers in propylene carbonate (PC). Chitosan oligosaccharide (C) was functionalized with L-arginine (A) and short hydrocarbon chains (C-8) to design an amphiphilic copolymer, henceforth CAC(8), leading to microparticles (MPs) consisting of an arginine-decorated hydrophilic shell and inner hydrophobic domains allowing the encapsulation of high amount hydrophobic drugs such as sorafenib tosylate (>10% w/w). The main oral drug absorption barriers are fluid cell membranes and generally drugs are absorbed by a passive diffusion mechanism. Biopartitioning micellar chromatography (BMC) is a mode of micellar liquid chromatography that uses micellar mobile phases of Brij35 under adequate experimental conditions and can be useful to mimic the drug partitioning process in biological systems. In this paper the usefulness of BMC for predicting oral drug absorption in humans is demonstrated. A hyperbolic model has been obtained using the retention data of a heterogeneous set of 74 compounds, which shows predictive ability for drugs absorbed by passive diffusion. Sufficient colonic absorption is necessary for all systemically acting drugs in dosage forms that release the drug in the large intestine. Preclinically, colonic absorption is often investigated using the rat single-pass intestinal perfusion model. This model can determine intestinal permeability based on luminal drug disappearance, as well as the effect of permeation enhancers on drug permeability.
