Il manoscritto dell'Anonimo Epirota: alcune ipotesi filologiche

Nel 1918 Giuseppe Schirò dichiarava di possedere un manoscritto contenente una versione inedita in lingua albanese del Vangelo di San Matteo eseguita da un «Anonimo Epirota». Per lunghi decenni del manoscritto non si ebbe nessun’altra notizia sino a quando l’archivio privato di Schirò non venne acquisito da Matteo Mandalà e conservato presso la Cattedra albanologica dell’Università di Palermo. Soltanto a partire da quel momento, si è potuta ricostruire la storia del Vangelo di San Matteo dell’«Anonimo Epirota», oggetto dello studio filologico che si presenta.

The origin of tragedy, the way the play was staged, the social context involving the play itself, as well as the specific technique used by every tragedian has been deeply analysed by different scholars. In particular, there is an issue involving Greek tragedy examined from various standpoints: the tragic hero. La questione dei rapporti fra testo e musica nei trovatori è stata affrontata secondo prospettive diverse, in cui raramente si verifica una reale convergenza fra i presupposti epistemici e metodologici della filologia romanza e della musicologia medievale. In questo intervento si cercherà di valutare se e fino a che punto l’opposizione fra melodie ‘gaie’ e ‘gravi’ che emerge dai testi poetici sia riferibile anche ad alcune delle melodie trasmesse, configurando in ultima analisi una caratterizzazione ‘etica’ del testo musicale in relazione a quello verbale all’interno del genere canzone.
