Bakalaura darbs “Vizuālās metaforas karikatūrās: Gata Šļūkas zīmēto karikatūru semiotiskā analīze (delfi.lv, gatissluka.com, la.lv un skats.lv karikatūru arhīvs, 2010 - 2015)” pētījuma problēma ir karikatūru kā reprezentācijas un informācijas nesēja loma, izmantojot vizuālās metaforas. Pētījums balstīts uz divām pamata teorētiskajām pieejām – semiotisko kontentanalīzi, ar kuras palīdzību tiek analizētas karikatūras un semiotiskās iezīmes atsevišķās kategorijās, kā arī auditorijas aptauja interneta vidē, kuras laikā tiks noskaidrots respondentu viedoklis par karikatūru nozīmi komunikācijā, kā arī to vērtējums dažādās jomās. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and potentially malignant oral disorders (OPMDs) could be associated with low levels of vitamin D. This systematic review aimed to determine the relationship between serum levels of vitamin D with OPMDs and OSCC. This review was conducted according to Cochrane guidelines (PROSPERO CRD42020207382) on literature retrieved from the PubMed, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases. The presence of the fossil polychaete Rotularia spirulaea (Lamarck, 1818) in Eocene deposits (middle Lutecian – upper Bartonian and (?) Priabonian) belonging to the western Pyrenean Domain is verified. In this paper, a fossildiagenetic study has been carried out. Fossils from three areas, corresponding to diff erent depositional settings, have been analysed. In area 1, sediments of the Ardanatz Sandstone and Ilundain Marls formations [Pamplona Basin and adjoining areas (Navarre)], were sampled. Artikkelissa esitellään narratiivista tutkimusta, jossa tarkastellaan ruotsia toisena kotimaisena kielenä opiskelevien suomenkielisten ja kaksikielisten yliopisto-opiskelijoiden pohdintoja ruotsin kielestä ja sen opiskelusta. Tuloksista ilmenee, että opiskelijoilla on yleensä vahva tunneside ruotsin kieleen ja sen opiskeluun. Ruotsin kieli koetaan rakkaana ja arvokkaana, ja sitä opiskellaan päättäväisesti, vaikka mediassa ja lähipiirissäkin esiintyvät negatiiviset asenteet ruotsin opiskelua kohtaan koetaan haasteellisina. nonPeerReviewed

This is a study on the significance of group poetry therapy and the use of metaphors by people diagnosed with psychosis. The data includes seven client interviews, poems and other texts written in the poetry therapy sessions, and my research diary; it was collected from a group I personally directed for one year.
