This study discusses a teaching experience that has been taking place at the School of Economics and Business at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) since the academic year 2012-2013. We implement a self-evaluation mechanism: students working on group projects are required to deliver a joint declaration in which they asses their individual participation in the accomplishment of the joint task. The importance of this device is twofold. On the one hand, it reduces conflictivity among team members and, on the other hand, it delivers quantitative elements to the lecturer for grading the individual participation to the group report. En este articulo se analizan, a partir de los microdatos de la Estadística de Variaciones Residenciales del período 1988-2001, las características demográficas y los patrones espaciales de las migraciones internas de la población extranjera en España. Entre los principales resultados de este trabajoso destacan: una mayor intensidad migratoria de los extranjeros con relación a los españoles; los extranjeros muestran una gran diversidad de patrones migratorios cuando se consideran diferentes nacionalidades. During the year 2020, the vulnerable conditions of “unaccompanied foreign minors” were amplified primarily due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to additional problems in the reception system too.
