Tracking in Presence of Total Occlusion and Size Variation using Mean Shift and Kalman Filter

International audience; The classical mean shift algorithm for tracking in perfectly arranged conditions constitutes a good object tracking method. However, in the real environment it presents some limitations, especially under the presence of noise, objects with varying size, or occlusions. In order to deal with these problems, this paper proposes a reliable object tracking algorithm using mean shift and the Kalman filter, which was added to the traditional algorithm as a predictor when no reliable model of the object being tracked is found. Ce rapport technique a pour but de mettre en forme nos démarches de recherche concernant le sujet de post-doctorat qui m'a été proposé, celui-ci ayant trait au suivi (tracking ) de formes en mouvement. Je mets ici en évidence, d'une part, les buts que nous souhaitons concrètement atteindre, et d'autre part, les principales contraintes techniques qui leurs sont liées. Les Gonorynchiformes fossiles : distribution et diversité.

8 pages; Longtemps placés dans les clupéiformes, les Gonorynchiformes ont rejoint les Ostariophysi au sein desquels ils représentent le groupe-frère des Otophysi. La monophylie du groupe est maintenant bien établie tant par les données morphologiques que moléculaires. De nos jours, quatre familles sont représentées par sept genres (dont cinq d'eau douce) et 35 espèces (dont 28 d'eau douce). Les Gonorynchiformes fossiles sont connus depuis le Crétacé basal (soit 145-140 millions d'années) jusqu'au Miocène basal (soit 23,5-20 millions d'années), et plusieurs taxons ont de grandes extensions temporelles. Characterization and role of nitric oxide production in Arabidopsis thaliana defense responses induced by oligogalacturonides

Nitric oxide (NO) regulates a wide range of plant processes from development toenvironmental adaptation. In this study, NO production and its effects were investigated in aplant-pathogen context. The production of NO following Arabidopsis treatment witholigogalacturonides (OGs), an endogenous elicitor of plant defense, was assessed using the NOsensitive probe 4, 5-diamino fluorescein diacetate. Pharmacological and genetic approaches wereused to analyze NO enzymatic sources and its role in the Arabidopsis thaliana /Botrytis cinereainteraction.
