La ingeniosa utilización de escaleras dobles en la España del siglo XVIII se remontaba a tres tipologías básicas desarrolladas a lo largo del siglo XVI para los alcázares regios de Madrid (B1) y Toledo (C1) y para el monasterio de El Escorial (D1). This study evaluated in vitro and in vivo drug release of bedaquiline from in situ forming gels (ISGs) containing 200 mg eq./g bedaquiline fumarate salt prepared with four different grades of poly(d,l-lactide) (PDLLA) or poly(d,l-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) with a lactide/glycolide ratio of 50/50 or 75/25 and acid (A) or ester (E) end-capping in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone at a polymer/solvent ratio of 20/80% (w/w). Mean in vitro drug release in 0.05 M phosphate buffer pH 7.4 with 1% (w/v) sodium lauryl sulphate was 37.3, 47.1, 53.3, and 62.3% within 28 days for ISGs containing PLGA5050A, PDLLA, PLGA7525A, and PLGA7525E, respectively. L’étude des livres liturgiques et de la documentation de la cathédrale (XVe-XVIIe siècles) ne permet pas à ce jour d’identifier le rôle et l’usage de ce caveau. The paper presents the models of grid-following and grid-forming converters in the software ATP-EMTP for power systems simulation. The models are developed using the MODELS language, they are described in details discussing all issues and aspects related to the implementation, and they are also shared as open source models. Este artículo analiza la influencia que ejercen diversas instancias de prescripción en los hábitos de asistencia al teatro. El estudio se basa en una encuesta realizada específicamente para esta investigación en la que fueron entrevistadas 210 personas que asistían a una representación teatral en tres salas distintas de la ciudad de Valencia. El estudio ha revelado la importancia del boca a boca en la decisión de asistir al teatro y su mayor influencia entre el público menos asiduo a las representaciones teatrales. This article examines the sets designed by John Piper for eight of Benjamin Britten's operas in the context of England's artistic and political post-war reconstruction. Piper created backdrops that found their logical conclusion in his stained-glass windows. They provide a sense of continuity whilst reflecting fundamental contradictions.

Understanding Structure and Stability of Monoclinic Zirconia Surfaces from First-Principles Calculations

Under the water-rich pre-treatment and/or reaction conditions, structure and chemistry of the monoclinic zirconia surfaces are strongly influenced by oxygen vacancies and incorporated water. Here, we report a combined first-principles and atomistic thermodynamics study on the structure and stability of selected surfaces of the monoclinic zirconia. Our results indicate that among the studied surfaces, the most stable (111) surface is the least vulnerable towards oxygen vacancies in contrast to the less stable (011) and (101) surfaces, where formation of oxygen vacancies is energetically more favorable.
