Svetimkalbių vartotojų produkuojamos kalbos tekstynai pastaruoju metu neretai tiriami aprašant leksines samplaikas, t. y. pasikartojančias tam tikro ilgio žodžių sekas, jų vartojimą bei funkcijas.
