The airport as edge city : the case of Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport
2005
International audience; Most of the recent research about airports has considered them in their role as points within airline networks, and the focus has been generally on hub airports. But airports are also places offering many similarities with cities, particularly with edge cities. They are places of human diversity and job centers for surrounding areas. Traffic jams are common on ground facilities as they are on taxiways, runways and airways. Often divided in specialized districts, such as cargo warehousing, hotel rows, rental car parking lots or office clusters, they are also urban organisms exerting strong demands on the local environment. In the post 9-11era, their importance for econ…
Schooling pupils with disabilities in Franceand Cameroon: a comparative analysis
2016
International audience; he right to education and academic success of all are the concerns of all time regardless of the contexts (UNESCO, 2008). Unfortunately, despite the solemn affirmations and commitments to education for all and inclusive education, the question of the effectiveness of including all-out pupils with disabilities remains a relatively unexplored topic. Inclusive education implies a paradigm shift in which the conditions for success are based on the ability of the school to adapt to the diversity of the public it hosts (Plaisance, Belmont, Verillon et al., 2007; Dyson, Millward et al., 1999). Some researchers (Armstrong, 2001; Ainscow, 2003) showed that if educational poli…

Our presentation will focus on teachers as parents. For the primary and secondary school level, educational success of teachers' children has been recently demonstrated for the case of France. However the conversion of this academic success into professional or social achievement has not been particularly investigated. The discussion on the social justice of the educational system in France
2015
International audience; This text, written for a German book on conceptions of school justice offers a reading of changes the approach to justice school in France since 1990 by the Human Sciences Research. It distinguishes three periods. Until the late 1990s, the issue of school justice was treated by the researchers only through the social inequalities of school careers. In the late 90s, the idea emerged that a renewal was necessary, it was necessary to take into account other items, ask the further question of the responsibility of the school itself in the genesis of inequality, and the injustice of inequality. Today, work on the school's justice takes shelter under three rival and partia…
Edukacja medialna we Francji
2020
Edukacja medialna stanowi ważny punkt edukacji szkolnej i całożyciowej. Po analizie literatury związanej z edukacją medialną we Francji można mówić o rozbudowanej wizji i działaniach dotyczących realizacji edukacji medialnej we Francji.

The Dictionnaire de Littérature of Sabatier de Castres (1770) is considered the first work to have made use of the syntagm "dictionary of literature". The innovative aspect of this works is, howe…
