Šis maģistra darbs „Maksa Friša autobiographiskais stāsts Montauk un tā adaptācija Volkera Šlēndorfa filmā” ir veltīts slavenā šveicu rakstnieku stāstu un vācu režisora filma analīzei. Darba mērķis ir aplūkot atšķirības un līdzības starp stāsta un ekranizāciju struktūrām un izpetīt literāra darba pārnesumu kino žanra jomā. Maģistra darbs ir strukturēts trīs daļās. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaan luontokäsitettä maailmankuvan muutoksiin liittyen Max Frischin romaaneissa Homo faber. Ein Bericht (1957) ja Der Mensch erscheint im Holozän (1979). Luontokuvaa ja mailmankuvaa sekä näissä tapahtuvia muutoksia käsitellään ensin teoriaosassa historian eri aikakausien näkökulmasta. Analyysiosassa tarkastellaan maailman- ja luontokuvan muutoksia romaanien päähenkilöiden ajattelutavoissa. Luontosuhteemme ja sen määritteleminen on ajankohtainen teema, jota joudumme jatkuvasti mm. erilaisten luonnonkatastrofien yhteydessä pohtimaan.
