La cremación como castigo a los condenados a muerte ya fue utilizada en la Antigüedad. En algunos casos, ciertas personas no se ven afectadas por las llamas a causa de la intervención divina. Se trata de un motivo literario y folklórico que parte del Antiguo Testamento (libro 3 de Daniel) y aparece también en la novela griega antigua, con matices variados. The crystalline pre-Andine basement outcrops only in the Cordillera Darwin (Tierra del Fuego) in the extreme southern part of Andean belt. It is located between the Antarctic, Nazca and Scotia Plate. In this paper, we describe the different applications and requirements identified in a literature review and during a consultation meeting with researcher experts in different fields. As a result, more than 30 applications were identified within three different fields: 1) land and solid Earth; 2) health and hazards; and 3) security and surveillance.
