Lai gan metaforas pētījumi ir piesaistījuši daudzu zinātnieku uzmanību, metaforu lietojums modes emuāros nav daudz pētīts. Emuārs kā žanrs parādījās 2000.gadu sākumā un kopš tā laika ir izveidojušies dažādi emuāra veidi. Empīriskie dati ir ekscerpēti no modes emuāra The Blonde Salad. Pētījums ir izstrādāts, lai atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumu - kāda metaforu funkcija dominē emuārā The Blonde Salad. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt avota domēnus, kas metaforiski raksturo modi izvēlētajā modes emuārā. In this paper the considerations on possibility of performing money functions by digital currency with an example of bitcoin are presented. The conditions of bitcoin emerge and its spectacular dynamic development caused by limitations of contemporary financial system are being discussed. This paper introduced one of the most popular digital currencies — bitcoin in terms of three elementary economic functions of money: mean of exchange, measure of value and store of value.

Celem opracowania było wskazanie wybranych wad procesu legislacyjnego w zakresie tworzenia przepisów prawa finansowego, tj. regulacji odnoszących się do publicznej działalności finansowej, a także próba oceny wpływu tych uchybień na założone funkcje stanowionych unormowań. Recent studies on gaze behaviours in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have utilised “live eye tracking.” Such research has focused on generating quantitative eye tracking measurements, which provide limited (if any) qualitative contextual details of the actual interactions in which gaze occurs. This article presents a novel methodological approach that combines live eye tracking with qualitative interaction analysis, multimodally informed conversation analysis. The artide presents a local initiative of the German minority in Chrząstowice, which encourages children and youths to pursue a two-way activity, that is learning a minority language and actively spending free time outdoors. The author describes the functions of supporting minority languages and the parents’ motivation to let their children attend classes at the football academy. The study was conducted using the following research methods: individual in-depth interview (IDI) with the founder of the football academy and a ąuestionnaire survey filled in individually by the parents.
