Abstrakti Sambiassa tehdyt tutkimukset osoittavat, että lukutaito jää saavuttamatta valtaosalta lapsista. Lukutaito alkaa kirjainten ja äänteiden välisen yhteyden ymmärtämisellä. Objectifs: Décrire l’aspect des masses rénales (< 3cm) en imagerie de diffusion et déterminer le rôle de l’ADC pour la différentiation entre lésion maligne et bénigne. Matériels et méthodes: 47 tumeurs rénales < 3cm (23 malignes, 24 bénignes) furent explorées en IRM 3T incluant en sus du protocole habituel une séquence de diffusion (b1000). Une analyse rétrospective qualitative et quantitative (ADC) fut réalisée avec corrélation anatomopathologique et tests statistiques pour déterminer l’efficacité de la valeur d’ADC pour caractériser la lésion. This paper presents an information fusion method for image retrieval; the retrieval strategy is based on statistical and geometrical features extracted from sub-images. Our goal is to find a set of best similar images related to a prototype image; this goal may be obtained according to image content rather than symbolic attributes. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images and astronomical images have been adopted to test the method. Magnetic reconnection is usually associated with conversion of magnetic energy into particle acceleration or thermal energy. However, a specific reconnection process driven by plasma pressure gradients was identified in Ref.[1] with a consistent theory of (non-ideal) MHD m0=1 modes in well confined plasmas. Exploring fast proton transfer events associated with lateral proton diffusion on the surface of membranes

Proton diffusion (PD) across biological membranes is a fundamental process in many biological systems, and much experimental and theoretical effort has been employed for deciphering it. Here, we report on a spectroscopic probe, which can be tightly tethered to the membrane, for following fast (nanosecond) proton transfer events on the surface of membranes. Gingivīta novērtēšana, izmantojot attālinātu fotopletismogrāfiju

Pētījuma mērķis ir novērtēt smaganu perfūziju izmeklējamām personām izmantojot photopletizmogrāfijas metodi. Viens no pētījuma mērķiem bija reģistrēt kapsacīna izraisīto neiro-iekaisuma efektu. Metodoloģija Šķērsgriezuma pētījums, tika veikts iekļaujot nelielu izmeklējamo personu grupu , izmeklējamās personas pirms pētījuma veikšanas tika iepazīstinātas ar protokolu un rakstiski apstiprināja dalību pētījumā. Pētījuma gaitā smaganu perfūzijas tika reģistrēta miera apstākļos, un aplicējot uz smaganu virsmas kapsacīnu saturošu piparu ekstraktu, kas izraisīja pārejošu neirogēnu iekaisumu, ar tam raksturīgo hiperēmiju.
