La sindrome da rivascolarizzazione (SR) comprende un insieme di eventi metabolici ed emodinamici che insorgono in un arto rivascolarizzato dopo un periodo più o meno lungo di ischemia, caratterizzata da specifiche manifestazioni cliniche sia a livello locale che sistemico. Riportiamo qui di seguito un caso di SR occorsa in una giovane donna di anni 20 con Sindrome di Turner e tiroidite autoimmune la quale veniva sottoposta ad intervento di giuntopieloplastica sinistra Robot assistita, poiché affetta da stenosi del medesimo giunto ed idronefrosi sinistra.
Constructing a Transmedia Universe : The Case of Battlestar Galactica

In this article, we define a ‘transmedia universe’ as encompassing the complexity of transmedia storytelling, production and consumption. In doing so, we use the popular science fiction television series Battlestar Galactica as a case study, including both the original and reimagined versions of the series and their various intramedia and transmedia, narrative and non-narrative, and diegetic and non-diegetic expansions. Moreover, we look beyond the official productions of the Battlestar Galactica franchise and include, for example, user-generated content within its transmedia universe. peerReviewed

Attīstoties intensīvās terapijas un transplantoloģijas nozarēm, smadzeņu nāves diagnostikā nepieciešams papildus veikt izmeklējumus, kas nodrošina ātru un efektīvu rezultātu, veicot apstiprinājumu smadzeņu nāves diagnozei. Datortomogrāfijas angiogrāfija ir viens no tiem. Bakalaura darba izvirzītā hipotēze ir: datortomogrāfijas protokols smadzeņu nāves apstiprināšanai katrā slimnīcā ir atšķirīgs. Apmežošanās procesu nosaka vairāki vides faktori, bet trūkst informācija par apmežošanās ietekmi uz augsnes īpašību izmaiņām, ar to saistītajiem pozitīvajiem un negatīvajiem aspektiem. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot egļu Picea abies ietekmi uz augsnes īpašību izmaiņām bijušajās lauksaimniecībā izmantojamās zemēs Taurenes apkārtnē. Immigrant Detention Centres in Spain: a critical assessment

This paper presents a critical examination of the management of irregular migration flows in Spain and the legal principles and administrative practices implemented by the State in the process of expulsion that legitimise the existence of Immigrant Detention Centres (CIE). It also provides a description of the current situation of the CIE, and reports on the most recent proposals made by the Spanish government to improve the management of CIE in response to pressure exerted by civil society organisations, especially after public protests regarding the death of two inmates in December 2011 and January 2012.
