The behavior of silicone gel under electrical stress plays a significant role in the reliability and durability of high voltage electronic power devices due to its widespread use for the insulation of IGBT modules and other components. The increased family diversity is a major global trend. Although family configurations are also diverse in contemporary Finland, it has been argued that Finnish family policies and institutional understanding of family life continues to focus on the heteronormative two-parent family with a native Finnish background. To address this issue, we analysed Finnish family discourses through qualitative interviews with early childhood education and care administrators (n = 47), applying a discourse analytic framework. Partial discharges on IGBT modules: Are sinusoidal waveforms sufficient to evaluate behavior?

In recent years, the increasing use of AC-DC converters, especially in the field of renewable energy sources has led to the implementation of new modulation techniques, in particular the ones based on the pulse width modulation. The purpose of the present work is to verify the different behavior that is obtained when the components are subjected to the partial discharge test carried out with a sinusoidal waveform, and when they are subjected to PWM stress-type, similar to the actual signal generated by this type of electronic components. By considering equal rms value of the fundamental sine wave, the comparison has shown different partial discharges patterns.

Tämä kandidaatintutkielma käsittelee seksuaalisten vähemmistöjen syrjintää ja nettikiusaamisen esiintymistä internet-faniyhteisöissä. Edelliset tutkimukset kertovat nettikiusaamisen olevan haitallista ja vaikuttavan uhrien mielenterveyteen – usein jopa enemmän kuin kasvotusten tapahtuva kiusaaminen. Tutkielmaa varten tehty nettikysely suunnattiin “femslash”-faniryhmille.
