The consequences of dropout are negative for both individuals and society. The spatial extent and incidence of Lyme disease is increasing in the United States, particularly in the Upper Midwest and Northeast. Many previous studies have explored the drivers of its spatial pattern, however, few studies tried to explore the drivers for the changes of Lyme disease. We here compared the spatial patterns of changes of human Lyme cases and incidence in the Northeast and Upper Midwest between 2003–2005 and 2015–2017, and applied two different approaches (i.e., a statistical regularization approach and model averaging) to investigate the climatic and landscape factors affecting the risk change between the two periods. Lyme disease, recognized as one of the most important vector-borne diseases worldwide, has been increasing in incidence and spatial extend in United States. In the Northeast and Upper Midwest, Lyme disease is transmitted by Ixodes scapularis. Currently, many studies have been conducted to identify factors influencing Lyme disease risk in the Northeast, however, relatively few studies focused on the Upper Midwest. The institution of the Real Audiencia in the kingdom of Sardinia since the 1560s is part of a wider process which saw the rise and development of royal supreme courts of justice in several European countries of the early modern period. In fact, major State formation processes all around Europe required that monarchs increased their control on local authorities and that new increasingly centralised systems of judicial review gained precedence over all particular jurisdictions, feudal as well as municipal. Tutkielman tarkoituksena on tutkia ja verrata keskenään ruman kielen käyttöä kahdella ruotsinkielisellä nuorille suunnatulla keskustelufoorumilla. Keskustelufoorumeista toinen on ruotsinruotsalainen ungdomar.se ja toinen suomenruotsalainen shsweb.fi. Tutkimuskohteena olevalla rumalla kielellä tarkoitetaan kirosanoja, haukkumasanoja, korostavia etuliitteitä sekä muita sanoja, jotka koetaan tabuiksi. Tutkimuksen kohteena on myös vieraiden kielten, erityisesti englannin vaikutus rumaan kielenkäyttöön sekä suomen kielen vaikutus suomenruotsalaisten nuorten kielenkäyttöön. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää mitä vahvikesanoja sekä –etuliitteitä suomenruotsalaiset nuoret käyttävät puhutussa kielessä, ja millaisissa konteksteissa niitä useimmiten esiintyy. Lisäksi selvitettiin millä eri tavoilla ja fraaseilla he osoittivat olevansa samaa mieltä keskustelukumppaneidensa kanssa. Tutkimustuloksia analysoitiin sekä kvalitatiivisesti että kvantitatiivisesti. Materiaalina käytettiin äänitettyjä neljän hengen ryhmäkeskusteluja, ja kaikki osallistujat olivat yläkouluikäisiä. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli saada selville, mitä vahvistavia sanoja ja etuliitteitä suomenruotsalaiset nuoret Tampereella käyttävät adjektiivien ja adverbien kanssa. Lisäksi tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisia eroja tyttöjen ja poikien välillä on vahvikesanojen käytössä, käyttävätkö he suomenkielisiä vahvikesanoja ja -etuliitteitä ruotsinkielisissä lauseissa, sekä kuinka usein he käyttävät samoja etuliitteitä, joita käytetään Ruotsissa. The research of my thesis has been focused on the 1935 diplomatic conference at Stresa, in Northern Italy and observe how this meeting between the representatives of the United Kingdom, France and Italy shaped the diplomatic relations in interwar Europe. The goal of this meeting was to formulate a common policy against Germany in reaction to the founding of the German air force. This action, which reneged on the 1919 treaty of Versailles caused great worry in Europe.
