International indebtedness means a public debt of a country, money or credit owed by a government to foreign lenders (external debt). This rticle includes description of reasons of creating debt, level of indebtedness of selected countries and its potential results. The aim of this article is to decide, if current indebtedness is just individual countries burden or is it general issue that concerns more countries and if there are any territorial regularity with their location. GDP growth in Spain was strong for much of the last half century, whereas the country’s productivity performance during these years has been mediocre. The reasons for this situation have frequently been analysed with the focus on labour productivity. But, as this article highlights, the evolution of capital productivity should also be taken into account when looking for explanations for poor productivity performance. The paper analyzes the relation between degree of economic globalization and the impact of economic crisis for developed and emerging European countries. We measure economic globalization through indexes based on share of external trade in GDP and FDI intensity (% of FDI inflows and outflows divided by GDP). The complexity of current economic and financial crisis could be evaluated through GDP growth rate, inflation rate, unemployment, public debt, budget deficit, balance of payments, exchange rate, etc. For the purpose of this paper we used GDP growth rate as a measure of economic crisis impact on national economies.
Contingent Convertible Bonds for Sovereign Debt Risk Management

Abstract We consider convertible bonds that contractually stipulate payment standstill, contingent on a market indicator of a sovereign’s credit worthiness breaching a distress threshold. This financial innovation limits ex ante the likelihood of debt crises and imposes ex post risk sharing between creditors and the debtor. Drawing from literature on contingent contracts, neglected risks, and bank CoCo, we extend prevailing arguments in favor of sovereign CoCo (S-CoCo). Framework for pedagogical learning analytics

Learning analytics is an emergent technological practice and a multidisciplinary scientific discipline, which goal is to facilitate effective learning and knowledge of learning. In this design science research, I combine knowledge discovery process, a concept of pedagogical knowledge, ethics of learning analytics and microservice architecture. The result is a framework for pedagogical learning analytics. The framework is applied and evaluated in the context of agency analytics. The framework contributes to the practical use of learning analytics.
Internet e tutela dei dati personali: il consenso ai cookie

The article tackles the issue of protection of personal data of internet users through the usage of cookies by digital content and service providers. It analyses the European legislative framework and, in particular, the General Data Protection Regulation, the so called E-Privacy Directive and the new Directive concerning the supply of digital content and services. The contribution debates the role of individual consent in this field and the interaction with the rules and the remedies provided by European Consumer Law, such as the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, in order to protect user's personal data in the evolution of data-driven economy.
