The bacterium causing cholera, Vibrio cholerae, is a marine organism and coastal waters are important reservoirs of the organism. There are more than 200 serogroups of V. cholerae, of which serogroups O1 and O139 are known to be the causative agent of the cholera. The main virulent factor in V. cholerae is cholera toxin gene (ctx) that is found from the epidemic O1 and O139 strains, but may also be found in some strains other than O1 and O139 (non-O1 and non-O139). Brazzein is a small (6.5 kDa) sweet-tasting protein originating from the fruit of Pentadiplandra brazzeana, a plant found in West Africa. Brazzein like all classes of sweet compounds is perceived through the activation of the T1R2/T1R3 heterodimeric sweet-taste receptor. T1R2 and T1R3 subunits are members of the small family of class C G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). Class C GPCRs possess a large N-terminal domain (NTD) linked to seven transmembrane domain by a cysteine rich domain (CRD). The NTD of T1R2 (T1R2-NTD) has been shown to contain the primary binding site for most of the sweet ligands. Badania pokazują, że to nowe użycie słowa geniusz bazuje na jego już istniejących znaczeniach, ale nie jest z nimi tożsame. Znaczenie rozumiane jest szeroko – jako zespół sądów o różnym statusie, mający charakter podmiotowy (związany z czyjąś koncepcją) i dyskursowy (włączony w „porządek” danego dyskursu, w tym wypadku – dyskursu katolickiego). The 2D:4D ratio and its relationship with other androgenisation parameters in parents of individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

The 2D:4D ratio is the quotient between the index and ring fin-ger lengths and is a non-direct indicator of androgenisation. If prenatal tes-tosterone levels in the amniotic fluid are high then the probability increases of developing lower ratio values. It has been suggested that people with au-tism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their parents may have highly andro-genised brains, and for this reason the 2D:4D ratio is used as a marker of such idiosyncrasies.
