On minimal non-PC-groups

On dit qu'un groupe G est un PC-groupe, si pour tout x ∈ G, G/C G (x G ) est une extension d'un groupe polycyclique par un groupe fini. Un non-PC-groupe minimal est un groupe qui n'est pas un PC-groupe mais dont tous les sous-groupes propres sont des PC-groupes. Notre principal resultat est qu'un non-PC-groupe minimal ayant un groupe quotient fini non-trivial est une extension cyclique finie d'un groupe abelien divisible de rang fini.

Nonlinear psi-quasi-contractions of Ciric-type in partial metric spaces

In this paper we obtain results of fixed and common fixed points for self-mappings satisfying a nonlinear contractive condition of Ciric-type in the framework of partial metric spaces. We also prove results of fixed point for self-mappings satisfying an ordered nonlinear contractive condition in the setting of ordered partial metric spaces.

Uno studio sistematico dei metodi di rappresentazione, dedotto dal metodo "generale" delle proiezioni bicentrali, fornisce un metodo che può definirsi "globale". Non un testo specializzato, bensì la proposta di un contributo scientifico-didattico al divenire della geometria descrittiva.

Quanto egli fa, sì nel disegnare, come nell’eseguire, dipende da questa Madre Scienza. Egli misura, compone, divide, unisce le parti a tenore di giuste regole, e norme; le dispone con ordine, le adatta nelle positure convenienti, le accorda con opportune proporzioni, le contorna con varie figure. RISOLUZIONE DI PROBLEMI GRAFICI CON L'AUSILIO DELLA GEOMETRIA PROIETTIVA

Speditezza e corretta esecuzione del disegno. La schematizzazione proiettiva consente di semplificare, mediante l'ausilio di relazioni grafiche elementari, i più complessi problemi applicativi. Alcuni problemi di geometria elementare, di geometria descrittiva nonché alcuni problemi sulle coniche vengono trattati per confermare la validità del metodo proiettivo per la loro soluzione.

On approximating curves associated with nonexpansive mappings

Let X be a Banach space with metric d. Let T, N : X → X be a strict d-contraction and a d-nonexpansive map, respectively. In this paper we investigate the properties of the approximating curve associated with T and N. Moreover, following [3], we consider the approximating curve associated with a holomorphic map f : B → α B and a ρ-nonexpansive map M : B → B, where B is the open unit ball of a complex Hilbert space H, ρ is the hyperbolic metric defined on B and 0 ≤ α < 1. We give conditions on f and M for this curve to be injective, and we show that this curve is continuous.

Càlcul de coordenades geogràfiques a partir de les estrelles: una proposta didàctica entre les matemàtiques i l'astronomia

[EN] This paper presents a didactical proposal for 11th grade students. The purpose of the activities is to show the relationship between astronomy and mathematics, specifically with the calculation of both geographic coordinates: latitude and longitude. The methodology used encourages independent work of students by using interactive digital applications and manipulative materials. These ressources allow students to work more easily with threedimensional geometry concepts that, otherwise, are abstract for them. The proposal is based on a classic problem: find the exact geographic position of any point on the Earth.
