Analysis of the railway network operations safety, with of different obstacles along the route, by the study of Buffon-Laplace type problems: the cas…

2016

In this paper we use an approach based on a Buffon-Laplace type problem for an irregular hexagonal lattice and obstacles to study some problems about analysis of the railway network operations safety in the presence of different obstacles on the route.

The Rank of Trifocal Grassmann Tensors

2019

Grassmann tensors arise from classical problems of scene reconstruction in computer vision. Trifocal Grassmann tensors, related to three projections from a projective space of dimension k onto view-spaces of varying dimensions are studied in this work. A canonical form for the combined projection matrices is obtained. When the centers of projections satisfy a natural generality assumption, such canonical form gives a closed formula for the rank of the trifocal Grassmann tensors. The same approach is also applied to the case of two projections, confirming a previous result obtained with different methods in [6]. The rank of sequences of tensors converging to tensors associated with degenerat…

The Tautological Ring of Spin Moduli Spaces

2009

We introduce the notion of tautological ring for the moduli space of spin curves. Moreover, we study some relations among tautological classes which are motivated by physics. Finally, we show that the Chow rings of these moduli spaces are tautological in low genus.

Let R be a complete discrete valuation ring of mixed characteristic (0, p) with fraction field K. The stable reduction theorem affirms that given a smooth, projective, geometrically connected curve over K, C/K, with genus \geq 2, there exists a unique finite Galois extension M/K minimal for the inclusion relation such that C_{M}:= C x M has stable reduction over M. A such extension is called monodromy extension of C/K and the Galois group Gal(M/K) is called the monodromy group of C/K. In this paper, the authors study stable models of p-cyclic covers of P^1_K. At first, they work with covers of arbitrarily high genus having potential good reduction. In particular, they determine for such cov…

Processo, progetto e architettura

2019

[EN] The concept of systematization is an innovative approach to the project that introduces a system of order with a method that proceeds by aggregating repeatable parts and regulates the phases of the design process. These principles can be found in the theories and experiments that lead to contemporary architecture, such as seriality, standardization, modularity that transform the project into a process and determine a new aesthetic. The works of the Fran Silvestre Arquitectos studio represent interesting examples that highlight the clarity of the process that operates through seriality and the definition of configurations based on dimensional relationships rather than on scale factors (…

Assonometria diretta.

2012
