Associations Between Adolescents' Subjectively Experienced Emotions and Psychophysiological Reactions in Achievement Situations

This study investigated associations of early adolescents' (N=190, median age = 12) subjectively experienced emotions and psychophysiological reactions in achievement situations. Self-reported questions assessed adolescents' experienced emotions. Additionally, adolescents' autonomic nervous system (ANS) reactions were recorded; skin-conductance response (SCR) and heart rate (HR) were used to measure sympathetic nervous system activity, and heart rate variability (HRV) was used to measure parasympathetic nervous system activity. Il lavoro propone una nuova interpretazione dell'ipotesi derogatoria ai divieti di lege agere alieno nomine coincidente con il lege agere pro tutela citato in I. 4.10. Contrariamente alle opinioni precedentemente proposte in dottrina, si dimostra come l'agere pro tutela coincidesse con l'agere del tutor ad litem nei casi di oblatio litis ovvero, anteriormente al I sec. d.C., nelle ipotesi di infantia del pupillo o di assenza del pupillo o della mulier.

A class of multivariate type I generalized logistic distributions

The logistic distribution has found important applications in many different fields and several different forms of generalizations have been proposed in the literature. However it seems, with a few exceptions, that there are not in the literature forms of multivariate generalized logistic distributions. In this paper we focus on the type I generalized logistic distribution and, based on a procedure of multivariate transformation of multivariate exponential distributions, we introduce a class of multivariate type I generalized logistic distributions. We provide some examples of bivariate and multivariate distributions of this class.

Journalistisen osaamisen soveltuminen viestinnän työtehtäviin

Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa selvitettiin, miten journalistinen osaaminen soveltuu viestinnän työtehtäviin. Tutkimusongelman taustalla oli journalistien siirtyminen viestinnän töihin muun muassa mediamaiseman murroksen seurauksena. Alanvaihto näkyi myös ammattijärjestöjen luvuissa; Journalistiliitossa jäsenmäärä oli laskenut, ProComissa ja Viesti ry:ssä puolestaan noussut. Tutkimuksen teoreettisena pohjana toimi Bourdieun kenttäteoria, jonka avulla pyrittiin ymmärtämään, mitä tapahtuu, kun journalistinen ja viestinnällinen kenttä risteävät. Childhood physical activity as a labor market investment

This study examined the role of physical activity and changes in physical activity levels during childhood in long‐term labor market outcomes. To address this important but under‐researched theme, the study utilized data drawn from longitudinal research, the Cardiovascular Risk in Young Finns Study (YFS), and from registries compiled by Statistics Finland. The study consisted of children aged 9 (n=1565) and 15 (n=2445) at the time their physical activity was measured. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin työnohjaajien toimintaa kolmessa eri työnohjausryhmässä. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää, mitä työnohjaaja ryhmätyönohjaustilanteessa tekee, ja ovatko kolmen eri työnohjaajan toimintatavat yhteisiä vai yksilöllisiä. Ohjaajien toimintatapoja verrattiin Caplanin (1970) ajatukseen työnohjauksesta opetuksellisuutta, tukea ja laadun varmistusta sisältävänä prosessina. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin, millaiset työnohjaajan toimintatavat edistävät dialogisuuden syntymistä työnohjausryhmässä.
