In questo studio, tuttora in corso di approfondimento e di investigazione, viene svolta un’analisi comparata sulle correzioni differenziali ottenute da reti di stazioni permanenti differenti, ma operanti sullo stesso territorio, quello siciliano. Infatti dopo la rapida diffusione delle tecnologie informatiche, in Sicilia negli ultimi anni, si è assistito ad una proliferazione di stazioni permanenti GPS, da parte di enti pubblici e società private. Positioning technologies such as GPS enable mobile map applications to display a symbol representing an estimation of a user’s location on a mobile map, therefore acting as a positioning aid. Previous research on the cognitive processes involved in map reading suggests that map readers need at least two map–environment points (objects that are visualized on the map and perceived in the environment) for determining their location on a map. Oxygen uptake (V˙O2) is an important metric in any exercise test including walking and running. It can be measured using portable spirometers or metabolic analyzers. Those devices are, however, not suitable for constant use by consumers due to their costs, difficulty of operation and their intervening in the physical integrity of their users. Virtuālas ģeogrāfiskas sētas uzstādīšana suņa atrašanās vietas ierobežošanai izmantojot Globālās pozicionēšanas sistēmu

Sistēmas mērķis ir spēja reāllaikā ierobežot suņa pārvietošanos noteiktā virtuālā ģeogrāfiskā sētā pēc iespējas saudzīgākā veidā. Tas tiks panākts izmantojot arduino, akselerometru, GPS moduli, GSM/GPRS moduli, skaņas signālu, ultraskaņas signālu un tīmekļa vietni, kurā būtu iespējams uzstādīt šīs koordinātes un redzēt suņa atrašanās vietu. Šajā kvalifikācijas darbā tika izstrādāta daļa no šīs sistēmas, kas ir tās kodols – suņa ierobežošana ar skaņas signālu balstoties uz GPS un akselerometra datiem.

From 1978 the Global Positioning System, needed for sensing the position of military targets (e.g. buildings, machinery), was developed as a pure military system, while in 1983 it was made available also for public use. Therefore, at the beginning of 80s precision agriculture, requiring GPS for sensing the position to which any measured field parameter must be geo-referenced, was implemented for the first time in US. Valsts nivelēšanas tīkla analīze Rīgā LatPOS sistēmā

Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta 1. klases nivelēšanas tīkla punktu augstumu saderība ar GPS uzmērīšanas metodēm iegūtajiem punktu augstumiem, izmantojot LatPOS pastāvīgo bāzes staciju sistēmu. Pētījums tika veikts Rīgas pilsētas teritorijā, apsekojot un veicot mērījumus izlases kārtībā 60 esošajiem nivelēšanas tīkla punktiem. Mērījumi tika veikti ar GPS uzmērīšanas metodēm, izmantojot LV’14 kvaziģeoīda modeli, un ģeometriskās nivelēšanas metodi. Rezultātā tika iegūti tīkla punktu augstumi Latvijas normālo augstumu sistēmā, kas tika salīdzināti ar 1. klases nivelēšanas tīkla punktu augstumiem.
