The double-edge sword effect of interorganizational trust on involvement in interorganizational networks: The mediator role of affective commitment

2020

Abstract Some organizations collaborate with other partner organizations to reach common goals, establishing interorganizational networks. The governance of the network is often enacted by an interorganizational governing team composed of the directors or top managers of the partner firms. This team plans, manages, and supervises the advancement of the network’s common goals. The success of the network depends, to a large extent, on the involvement of the members of the governing team. In this study, we tested a multilevel model of the antecedents of the involvement of governing team members in the management activities of interorganizational networks. We examined whether the relationship b…

Rosyjskie siły lądowe i flota bałtycka w 1715 i 1719 roku w świetle raportów brytyjskich

2020

Kilka z nich będzie przedmiotem analizy, a dane które można z nich odczytać będą mogły świadczyć o rozwoju carskich sił zbrojnych.

Capitolo 8. L’apparato statuario

2022

The section contains a detailed study of the twelve sculptural pieces that were found in the "Gymnasium" complex. These include, beside two "ideal" sculptures - a semicolossal torso of the goddess Rome, and a fragmentary head of a "Vatergottheit" of small scale-, several portrait statues. Two of them (a fragment of a togatus and a fragmentary togatus wearing a ceremonial "laena") date back to the julio-claudian period, like the abovementioned statue of the goddess Rome, and are not in their originary context. Most probably, the laenatus and the statue of the goddess, coming from an official cultic context, yet unrecognized, of Rome and Augustus(?), were reemployed or discarded in the area o…

Tacitus on Titus? Visit to the Temple of Venus at Paphos

2020

This article deals with Titus? visit to the temple of Venus at Paphos in the second book of Tacitus? Historiae. Uncovering the dark side of innovation: the influence of the number of innovations on work teams’ satisfaction and performance

2016

We investigated whether the number of innovations implemented in work teams is positively related to team task conflict and negative team mood, and whether the latter variables mediate the relationship between the number of innovations implemented and aggregate job satisfaction and team performance. The results obtained in a sample of 89 bank branches, where measures were obtained at three different times, partially supported our hypotheses. Whereas the number of innovations implemented had a positive direct effect on team performance, it had a negative indirect effect on team performance and aggregate job satisfaction, via negative team mood. These findings help uncover some of the dysfunc…

From refugee integration to the theory of change for integration. The evolution of the approach to social integration in the UK at the beginning of t…

2020

Potrzeba i chęć zmiany motywuje decydentów i praktyków w Wielkiej Brytanii do podejmowania zdecydowanych działań integracyjnych.

2021

For years, there have been many opinions according to which Gabriel Narutowicz is known only because in December 1922 he was “accidentally” elected the president of the Republic of Poland and then murdered in dramatic circumstances. His professional achievements are very often overlooked in such narratives. The poorly known threads of his biography also include his commitment to the Polish cause during the Great War. And it was then, as a Swiss citizen and a respected engineer with a European reputation, actively engaged in helping Poles staying within the borders of this mountainous country. Narutowicz, about which the article is about, was also an intermediary in providing financial suppo…
