Background Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an important disease with a high incidence among patients admitted to intensive care units. Bakalaura darba tēma ir AS Grindeks un AS Olainfarm finanšu darbības rādītāju analīze un salīdzinājums. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz AS Grindeks un AS Olainfarm gada pārskatu finanšu analīzi, novērtēt uzņēmumu finansiālo stāvokli un izstrādāt priekšlikumus to uzlabošanai. Bakalaura darbā tika apkopotas galvenās finanšu analīzes teorētiskās pamatnostādnes, tālāk tika veikts AS Grindeks un AS Olainfarm finansiālā stāvokļa novērtējums, izmantojot finanšu analīzes rādītājus, kā arī iegūtie rezultāti tika salīdzināti uzņēmumu starpā un ar farmācijas nozares vidējiem rādītājiem. AbstractInsect pests strongly affect the productivity and profitability of agriculture and forestry. Despite the well-known sensitivity of insects to abiotic effects such as temperature, their potential responses to ongoing climate change remain unclear. Here we compile and review documented climate change responses of 31 of the globally most impactful phytophagous insect pests, focussing on species for which long-term, high-quality data are available. Abstract Accurate wind power forecast is essential for grid integration, system planning, and electricity trading in certain electricity markets. Therefore, analyzing prediction errors is a critical task that allows a comparison of prediction models and the selection of the most suitable model. In this work, the temporal error and absolute magnitude error are simultaneously considered to assess the forecast error. The trade-off between both types of errors is computed, analyzed, and interpreted. Moreover, a new index, the dynamic mean absolute error, DMAE, is defined to measure the prediction accuracy.
