Fuzzy green vehicle routing problem for designing a three echelons supply chain

Abstract In this study, a three-echelon fuzzy green vehicle routing problem (3E-FGVRP) is considered for designing a regional agri-food supply chain on a time horizon. To account for the variability associated with the quantities requested by customers, it is assumed that the demands are fuzzy numbers simulated by a time-dependent algorithm. Moreover, the vehicle fleet and distribution centres are considered with a defined capacity. The credibility theory of fuzzy sets is used to implement a multi-objective fuzzy chance-constrained programming model, where the total costs and carbon emissions are minimised. Urban Sprawl and Northern European Residential Tourism in the Spanish Mediterranean Coast

Residential tourism from Northern European countries has influenced the process of urban development in the Spanish Mediterranean coast. We explain the recent urban growth in Spain (or “Spanish house bubble”) and then show the main characteristics of the influx of citizens from other European countries richer than Spain, especially into the Spanish Mediterranean coast and specifically into the Costa Blanca region. Finally we demonstrate the relationship between the development of residential tourism and the growth of urban sprawl in the Spanish Mediterranean coast and we analyze some of its consequences for the region..

A progressive stage IIIB melanoma treated with oncolytic ECHO-7 virus: A case report

Melanoma is an aggressive skin cancer form with a grave prognosis. Current results suggest that oncolytic virus treatment of melanoma has a high therapeutic potential. ECHO-7 (Rigvir) is the first oncolytic virus registered in Latvia. A female patient was diagnosed with stage IIIB melanoma in December 2012, over 9.4 years ago. After the first excision and re-excision, the patient had several recurrences and disease progressions. After the patient had received surgical treatment in 2014, ECHO-7 virus oncolytic virotherapy was started. Tutkielma tarkastelee puhuttelumuotojen käyttöä suomen-, ruotsin-, englannin- ja ranskankielisissä Muumi-sarjakuvissa. Tutkimuksen kohteena ovat eri puhuttelusubstantiivit ja niihin liittyvät paralingvistiset keinot. Aineisto koostuu ensimmäisestä englantilaiselle The Evening News -sanomalehdelle julkaistusta Muumi-sarjakuvasta ja sen englannin-, ranskan- ja suomenkielisistä käännöksistä. Vaikka Muumi-sarjakuvat julkaistiin ensiksi englanniksi, Tove Jansson kirjoitti ne ruotsiksi, ja hänen veljensä Lars, joka myöhemmin otti sarjakuvien tekemisen kokonaan vastuulleen, käänsi ne englanniksi.
