Objetivo Evaluar los resultados clínicos y radiográficos de una serie de pacientes sometidos a una artroplastia de Scheker. Material y Método Estudio descriptivo de 16 pacientes con artrosis TMC. Se valoró el estado clínico y funcional según el cuestionario DASH, la movilidad del pulgar según la escala de Kapandji y el dolor según la escala visual analógica (EVA). A nivel radiográfico, se cuantificó el colapso del espacio remanente tras la exéresis del trapecio. Resultados La edad promedio de los pacientes fue 64,9 años, 81% fueron mujeres. Abstract Objective To describe a technique for treating acute injuries of the scapholunate ligament (SLL) by performing an arthroscopic reinsertion of the SLL and dorsal capsulodesis and to present the results obtained. Methods The study deals with an analytical, prospective clinical study that included 19 consecutive patients with acute injury of the SLL. AbstractBy literal meaning (LM) we usually refer to a theoretical notion which is at the center of a big debate involving philosophers and linguists with various orientations. At the same time, LM is rooted in a linguistic intuition of the speaker, which we could formulate as follows: words taken in isolation have a meaning. This paper provides evidence of the fruitfulness of combining analytical categories from Cognitive Linguistics and Critical Discourse Analysis for the analysis of complex literary characterizations. It does so through a detailed study of the “tributes”, i.e. the randomly selected children who have to fight to death in a nationally televised show, in The Hunger Games. AbstractProgress in psychotherapy is typically irregular, as advances alternate with setbacks. This study investigated the therapist’s activities prior to two main types of setbacks, one involving the client following therapist proposals and one involving the client failing to follow from therapist proposals, in the case of a poor-outcome client treated with a linguistically-oriented kind of cognitive therapy. Setbacks were defined as decreases of at least one level on an index of therapeutic progress, the 8-level Assimilation of Problematic Experiences Scale (APES), in adjacent client passages. Spanish Adaptation and Validation of the Outcome Questionnaire OQ-30.2

This study assessed the psychometric properties of a Spanish version of the Shortened Outcome Questionnaire (OQ-30.2, Lambert et al., 2004) validated with a sample of 546 patients in an outpatient mental health clinic and 100 non-clinical adults in Chile. Our results show that this measure has similar normative data to the original measure, with a cutoff score for the Chilean population set at 43.36, and the reliable change index at 14. This Spanish OQ-30.2 has good internal consistency (α = 0.90), has concurrent validity with the Depressive, Anxious, and Somatoform disorders measuring scale (Alvarado and Vera, 1991), and is sensitive to change during psychotherapy.
