La raíz de la diferencia entre las respectivas concepciones de Gaos y García Bacca en torno a la técnica y, consecuentemente, en torno al humanismo, derivan del distanciamiento de sus respectivas antropologías filosóficas, la primera de impronta historicista, y la segunda inscrita en la lógica de fondo de la izquierda hegeliana, que busca superar la alienación religiosa a favor del hombre y, consecuentemente, hace una lectura positiva del papel prometeico de la técnica.

On 1928, the French musician Maurice Martenot presented at Paris Opera a new electronic musical instrument which he called musical waves. It had success like only a few and attracted the interest of the composers, Martenot strove to spread it with a initial tour that took it all around the world between 1931 and 1932.
