Conjugative plasmids can confer antimicrobial resistance (AMR) to their host bacterium. The plasmids disperse even between distantly related host species, rescuing the host from otherwise detrimental effects of antibiotics. Little is known about the role of these plasmids in the spread of AMR during antibiotic treatment. One unstudied question is whether the past evolutionary history of a plasmid in a particular species creates host specificity in its rescue potential or if interspecific coevolution can improve interspecific rescues. The Spanish republican project that came into power in 1931 relied on a strong support of the cultural world. Written media were used to spread its reforms that it supported. In political and literary circles, numerous publications were released by established writers as well as by the witness of this period. The publication of newspapers went on during the Civil War. Even the boats that transfered the refugees to Mexico, had three publications that proclaimed the necessity of staying united after the arrival. This intention was implicit in the school newspapers of the four Spanish schools in the Mexican capital and helped to keep track of Spain’s presence as a common referent.

Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää kuivaverianalyysin yhteyksiä kliinisiin verimuuttujiin, erityisesti laskoon. Lisäksi menetelmän luotettavuutta arvioitiin vertailemalla samalta koehenkilöltä kerättyjä A- ja B-näytteitä. Kuivaverianalyysissä sormenpääverinäytteestä kerätään näytelasille useita veripisaroita, joiden annetaan kuivua. Pisaroiden kuivuessa niihin muodostuu digitoiduissa näytteissä valkoisina erottuvia alueita. We have investigated the influence of electron density on the three-center [N–I–N]+ halogen bond. A series of [bis(pyridine)iodine]+ and [1,2-bis((pyridine-2-ylethynyl)benzene)iodine]+ BF4– complexes substituted with electron withdrawing and donating functionalities in the para-position of their pyridine nitrogen were synthesized and studied by spectroscopic and computational methods.
