The present investigation addresses the gravity of mispronunciation for the intelligibility of English spoken by L1 Finland-Swedish teenagers. Previous research on the topic has been scarce, and even though there is some knowledge about the typical pronunciation challenges faced by this learner group, there is hardly any empirical research on the extent to which the typical mispronunciations actually cause misunderstandings. Tässä Pro Gradu-tutkielmassa tarkastellaan suomalaisten ilmastonmuutosta koskevia asenteita vuosina 2000 ja 2010 ja näissä asenteissa tapahtunutta muutosta kahden eri ajankohdan välillä. Ilmastonmuutosta lähestytään sosiaalisen konstruktionismin näkökulmasta ja se määritellään yhteiskunnalliseksi ongelmaksi. Ilmastonmuutosta koskevia asenteita lähestytään taustamuuttujien kautta, joita ovat sukupuoli, ikä, asuinpaikka, koulutuksen määrä ja materialistisia ja jälkimaterialistisia arvoja kuvaava muuttuja. Western Australian students' alcohol consumption and expenditure intentions for Schoolies.

In Australia, the immediate post-school period (known as ‘Schoolies’) is associated with heavy drinking and high levels of alcohol-related harm. This study investigated students’ intended alcohol consumption during Schoolies to inform interventions to reduce alcohol-related harm among this group. An online survey was administered to students in their senior year of schooling. Included items related to intended daily alcohol consumption during Schoolies, amount of money intended to be spent on alcohol over the Schoolies period, and past drinking behaviour.
