The purpose of my study is to examine how female skiers are represented in the texts of a Finnish sports magazine, Urheilulehti, and how these representations have changed during the examination period from 1905 to 2010. In this paper we discuss to what extent the international and national equality goals regarding gender balance and inclusive education have been reached in the education sector development in Tanzania. According to recent reports, the development trend has been generally positive, and the country is close to achieving its primary education targets. Although showrooming behaviour is a characteristic aspect of modern omnichannel retailing, our understanding of its antecedents remains limited. In this study, we aim to address this gap in prior research by examining how showrooming behaviour is affected by three different kinds of perceived consumer capabilities: general online shopping skilfulness, mobile online shopping skilfulness, and multichannel self-efficacy. The chapter focuses on how members in participatory cultures engage in everyday, informal, and interest-driven social and discursive practices primarily on social media but also in ways that relate to the material and physical contexts of their lives. We show how social actors operating in these sites construct gender and sexuality intersectionally and multimodally. We argue that gender and sexuality are always constructed at intersections with other identity categories. Artikkelissamme identifioimme tilastollisella avainsana-analyysillä Suomi24-keskustelufoorumilla tuotettuja lesboerityisiä diskursseja, joissa – toisin kuin homodiskursseissa – keskitytään seksuaaliseen suuntautumiseen, sukupuoleen ja ulkonäköön. Research typically employs essentialist and static representations of masculinity to deal with of male violence against women. Masculinity is thereby linked to pre-social phenomena, naturalized categories, and to identity configurations that are defined as dangerous, due to biological, ethno-racial or class characteristics/configurations. Partendo dalla constatazione che la violenza di genere investe non solo il piano delle azioni, ma anche quello simbolico delle rappresentazioni e coesiste con i frame della libertà e della reciprocità, il saggio si propone di analizzare le forme di percezione, valutazione e rilevanza assegnate alla violenza, in contesti di normalità. Vengono evidenziate le situazioni in cui la violenza si manifesta ritualizzandosi, riiscritti gli elementi che la connotano, riletta la rappresentazione che ne viene fatta dai mass media.
