A 2-month-old boy presented with slight diffuse abdominal pain after an uncomplicated pregnancy and perinatal period. Height (62 cm) and weight (5.5 kg) were according to the age. Routine blood tests showed no abnormalities except for a minimal elevation of aspartate aminotransferase to 38 units/L (reference range 5–35 U/L). Dear Editor: Colonoscopy is regarded as a safe procedure, but complications may occur. The most dreaded are perforation and massive bleeding of the colon. The incidence of perforation is low but, despite increased experience with the procedure, it remains unchanged over time and in a large population study ranges from 0.6 to 1 per 1.000 procedures, depending on the centre and the data source. Few studies have assessed risk factors for colonoscopy-related bleeding and perforation. <i>Background:</i> The management of incidentalomas with tumor size 3 cm and larger is still under controversial discussion. <i>Study Design:</i> Clinical charts of 65 patients who underwent adrenalectomy for an incidentaloma were reviewed. <i>Results:</i> Sixty-five patients were operated. There were 28 men and 37 women with a median age of 56.9 years. Median size of all resected lesions was 4.1 cm. Indications for surgery were tumor size equal and larger than 3 cm, recurrent pain, hormone status and patients’ fear of malignancy.
