AbstractWe report pump-probe transient absorption measurements addressing the photocycle of the Germanium lone pair center (GLPC) point defect with an unprecedented time resolution. The GLPC is a model point defect with a simple and well-understood electronic structure, highly relevant for several applications. Therefore, a full explanation of its photocycle is fundamental to understand the relaxation mechanisms of such molecular-like systems in solid state. Religious Diaspora: A New Approach to Its Existence and Meaning

The present study aims to contribute to the discussion regarding the possibility of conceptualizing a religious diaspora. It proposes a new way of defining it, namely in relation to religious and not to ethno-territorial realities, but without editing the territorial dimension out. After sketching the definition on this theoretical basis, the study refers to six case studies, pointing to the way in which the definitory traits of a religious diaspora are actualized in each situation under study. Este trabajo ofrece una sucinta revisión y un balance provisional de cómo ha tratado la historiografía el movimiento de las Germanías de Valencia (1519-1522) como condicionante de la actividad artística en la primera mitad del siglo XVi, época de notorios cambios en el lenguaje y la práctica de los oficios y en las obras promovidas por sujetos e instituciones del reino de Valencia. Sin pretensión de exhaustividad, la exposición deja en segundo plano las cuestiones de estilo para enmarcar algunas manifestaciones arquitectónicas y artísticas en las que incidió la revuelta y la alteración de la convivencia social entre la segunda y la tercera década del siglo XVI. W latach 80. XX wieku ruch pokojowy mobilizujący setki tysięcy osób w protestach przeciwko podwójnej uchwale NATO z grudnia 1979 r. był istotnym elementem zachodnioniemieckiej sceny politycznej. Wpływał na układ sił i konflikty wewnętrzne w socjaldemokracji niemieckiej (SPD), będąc największym oponentem polityki prowadzonej przez rząd kanclerza Helmuta Schmidta, przyczynił się do powstania Partii Zielonych, a jego działania doprowadziły do zaistnienia polemiki w związkach zawodowych i były bodźcem do dyskusji etycznych i religijnych w Kościele katolickim i protestanckim w RFN. Stał się również przedmiotem wielu kontrowersji oraz symbolem aktywności i siły społecznej.

Dwarf fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) plays an important ecological role in the thermo Mediterranean vegetation stage, both in woodlands, xerophitic shrub communities and degraded ecosystems. Dwarf fan palm is typically propagated from seeds. Whereas other palm species show reduced germination after few months of seed storage, no information is available on the effects of storage time on seed germinability . We examined the germination pattern of dwarf palm seeds aged after a storage of four, six or eight months in comparison to fresh seed (control). En ambients halòfils de clima mediterrani com els localitzats en el litoral sud alacantí, l’ecofisiologia de la germinació és afectada essencialment pel dèficit hídric estacional, les elevades temperatures i les propietats del sòl. En aquest marc d’irregularitat ambiental, s’establí la resposta de germinació integrada en el cicle vital de l’espècie herbàcia halòfita Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum L. per tal d’avançar en el coneixement del funcionament d’aquests ambients salins i així poder abordar futurs programes de conservació vegetal en praderies salines.
