Tarkastelemme artikkelissamme kotihoidon työntekijöiden teknologian käyttämiseen liittyviä tunteita ja syitä niiden takana. Tutkimuskysymyksemme ovat: 1) Millaisia tunteita kotihoidon työntekijät liittävät työssä käyttämäänsä teknologiaan? 2) Millaisia syitä kotihoidon työntekijöiden tunteiden taustalta on havaittavissa? Artikkelimme perustuu vuonna 2019 kerättyyn kyselytutkimusaineistoon ja sen avokysymykseen, joka koskee työssä käytettyyn teknologiaan liittyviä tunteita. Background: In patients with some cardiovascular disease conditions, slightly elevated body mass index (BMI) is associated with a lower mortality risk (termed “obesity paradox”). It is uncertain, however, if this obesity paradox exists in patients who have had invasive cardiology procedures. We evaluated the association between BMI and mortality in patients who underwent coronary angiography. Abstract This article contemplates the individual level socioeconomic consequences of bankruptcy by studying market-oriented, self-employed people in Jyväskylä, a small town in central Finland. The article asks if poverty and social loss were inevitable consequences of urban business failure and also seeks to explain why some recovered and others did not. Through the method of collective biography and by utilizing a varied selection of legal documents and parish and governmental materials, this article shows that, even though a bankruptcy could cause serious financial and economic outcomes, and even proletarianize a debtor, impoverishment was not the inevitable consequence of bankruptcy. Before a test can be used in the target population, it is necessary to demonstrate that there is measurement equivalence. One way to do this is by studying differential item functioning. Objective: In this study, we used the Mantel-Haenszel procedure and logistic regression to analyze DIF in the Spanish version of the Verbal Selective Reminding Test between Spaniards, Mexicans and Hispanics in the United States. Catching allergy by a simple questionnaire

Background Identifying allergic rhinitis requires allergy testing, but the first-line referral for rhinitis are usually primary care physicians (PCP), who are not familiar with such tests. The availability of easy and simple tests to be used by PCP to suggest allergy should be very useful. Methods The Respiratory Allergy Prediction (RAP) test, based on 9 questions and previously validated by a panel of experts, was evaluated in this study. Results An overall number of 401 patients (48.6% males, age range 14–62 years) with respiratory symptoms was included.
