Lietojumprogrammas uzdevums ir dot cilvēku grupai iespēju reģistrēties dotajā lietojumprogrammā un dot iespēju izveidot dažādas terzēšanas istabas, lai katrā varētu apspriest izvēlētas tēmas. Atsevišķas terzēšanas istabas dot iespēju sakartot visas tēmas apspriešanai dažādās vietās, lai lietotājiem nevajadzētu ilgi meklēt visu īzziņu sarakstā, kur tieši bija apspriestas noteiktās tēmas. Tāpēc dota lietojumprogramma ne tikai organizē apspriešanas tēmas, bet ari taupa lietotāju laiku.

Kvalifikācijas darbs “Datora lietotne kakuro mīklu atrisināšanai” apraksta prāta spēles Kakuro automātisko risinātāju, uzrakstītu C# valodā, kas ir pieejams kā datora lietotne. Lietotājam ir jāievada konkrētas mīklas dati izklājlapu programmā, tādā kā MS Excel, un lietotne attēlo mīklas atrisinājumu. Lietotne var apstrādāt arī iepriekš ierakstītas mīklas. Ievaddatu pārbaude dod paziņojumus par iespējamo mīklas nepareizo ievadu – nav atrisinājumu vai ir vairāki atrisinājumi. Darba gaitā izveidots Kakuro risinātājs, kas atbilst aprakstītām prasībām.

Tämä tutkielma käsittelee suomalaista WWW-sovelluskehystä Vaadinta. Se on palvelinpohjainen Java-kehys rikkaiden WWW-sovellusten kehittämiseen. Tutkielmassa esitellään myös WWW-kehyksiä yleisesti sekä WWW-kehysten yleensä käyttämä MVC-arkkitehtuuri. Lisäksi esitellään myös Vaatimen käyttämät tekniikat: AJAX, UIDL, JSON ja DOM sekä kuinka Vaadin niitä käyttää. Vaatimesta käydään läpi käyttöliittymäkomponentit, tapahtumien käsittely, tietomalli ja ulkoasun muokkaus. Lopuksi esitellään Vaatimen käyttöä esimerkkisovelluksen avulla.

Is Big Brother Watching Us? Google, Investor Sentiment and the Stock Market

International audience; This paper proposes a novel measure of French investor sentiment based on the volume of internet search reported by Google Trends. We find that our sentiment indicator correlates well with alternative sentiment measures often used in the literature. Furthermore, we find that investor sentiment influences the behavior of mutual fund investors. The results also reveal evidence about short-run predictability in return. An increase in our sentiment index leads to short-term return reversal. The reversal pattern is more pronounced for smaller firms than larger firms, consistent with the predictions of noise trader's models.
Interactions of pharmaceutical companies with world countries, cancers and rare diseases from Wikipedia network analysis

AbstractUsing the English Wikipedia network of more than 5 million articles we analyze interactions and interlinks between the 34 largest pharmaceutical companies, 195 world countries, 47 rare renal diseases and 37 types of cancer. The recently developed algorithm using a reduced Google matrix (REGOMAX) allows us to take account both of direct Markov transitions between these articles and also of indirect transitions generated by the pathways between them via the global Wikipedia network.
