There are numerous studies that support the interest of starting the development of algebraic thinking in Primary School. In this paper, we present a part of a research project aimed to explore the processes of solution of geometric pattern problems by students in Primary grades 4th to 6th. We analyze the behavior of students who were administered a teaching unit based on the resolution of this type of problems in the GeoPattern application, created by the authors for this purpose. Valores del mar en la obra de Pedro Ferrer Calatayud

This paper seeks to offer an interpretation of the seascape work of Valencian painter Pedro Ferrer Calatayud (1860-1944). Starting from his artistic context, two essential values of the seascape aesthetics can be found in Ferrer's paintings: firstly depth, which is linked to the abyss and represented by the shipwreck, and then temporality, linked to eternity and the cyclical time and rendered through the relationship of the sea with other elements in nature. Our analysis proves that the sea in this painter, far from being merely a subject, was also a means of searching new ideological values and technical ways which would eventually lead to fresh artistic trends in the early 20th century.

The loss of biodiversity, including the collapse of fish stocks, affects the vulnerability of social-ecological systems (SESs) and threatens local livelihoods. Incorporating community-centered indicators and SES drivers and exposures of change into coastal management can help anticipate and mitigate human and/or coastal vulnerability. We have proposed a new index to measure the social-ecological vulnerability of coastal fishing communities (Index of Coastal Vulnerability [ICV]) based on species, ecosystem, and social indicators. Así, en el presente estudio se expone un método de trabajo en el que se utilizan, atendiendo a la necesidad en cada punto de la cadena de producción, algunas de dichas herramientas. La Biblioteca Nacional de España ha trabajado activamente en la adaptación de RDA a la descripción del libro antiguo desde el año 2015, hasta poder afrontar finalmente desde el año 2020 el paso definitivo: la redacción del perfil de aplicación de RDA para monografías antiguas de la BNE. Este trabajo ha permitido identificar los principales retos de esta aplicación, así como aprovechar las oportunidades que ofrece al catalogador de libro antiguo.
