Aproximación a un análisis del ámbito de la Gloria celestial. Aquí la Virgen aparece como reina e intercesora ante el Trono de Gracia, en donde, de acuerdo con la tradición iconográfica, se incluye a San Juan Bautista y los arma Christi portados por ángeles. Diastaza i Duch Święty w myśli młodego Karla Bartha

Artykuł jest komentarzem do wykładu K. Bartha Der Heilige Geist und das christliche Leben. Centralną myśl stanowi teza, że nie istnieje żadna forma „kontynuacji” (Kontinuität) między duchem człowieka a Duchem Boga. Ten brak ciągłości widoczny jest w tajemnicy stworzenia – istnieje ontologiczna „nieciągłość” (Diskontinuität) między stworzeniem a Stwórcą. Podobną „nieciągłość” zauważa Barth w tajemnicy pojednania – grzech oddziela człowieka od Tego, który jest Święty. Także w tajemnicy odkupienia różnica między czasem a wiecznością tworzy diastazę między żyjącym w czasie człowiekiem a wiecznym Bogiem. Relacja między nimi może zaistnieć jedynie w wyniku cudu Bożej łaski.
Highly irregular graphs with extreme numbers of edges

Abstract A simple connected graph is highly irregular if each of its vertices is adjacent only to vertices with distinct degrees. In this paper we find: (1) the greatest number of edges of a highly irregular graph with n vertices, where n is an odd integer (for n even this number is given in [1]), (2) the smallest number of edges of a highly irregular graph of given order.
Super Heavy Dark Matter Anisotropies from D-particles in the Early Universe

We discuss a way of producing anisotropies in the spectrum of superheavy Dark matter, which are due to the distortion of the inflationary space time induced by the recoil of D-particles upon their scattering with ordinary string matter in the Early Universe. We calculate such distortions by world-sheet Liouville string theory (perturbative) methods. The resulting anisotropies are found to be proportional to the average recoil velocity and density of the D-particles. In our analysis we employ a regulated version of de Sitter space, allowing for graceful exit from inflation. The Spirit of Inquiry and the Reflected Self: Theological Anthropology and the Sociology of Knowledge

The general aim of an anthropology may be said to be the determination of man's characteristics in his environment. In social anthropology, however, the trend has been to emphasise the environment at the expense of man. The present article argues that a similar tendency prevails in theology's typical description of man as a ‘hearer’ of the Word of God and finds illuminating parallels in Berger and Luckmann's sociology of knowledge. The failure of these two authors to maintain a true dialectic between individual creativity and the formative influences of society appears in connection with their view of human inquiry.
