Rakstu krājums ietver 15 rakstu par dažādiem gramatikas un valodas apguves jautājumiem sinhroniskā un diahroniskā aspektā. Valodas materiāla analīze galvenokārt balstās dažādu korpusu (latviešu, lietuviešu, angļu) pētījumos un tekstu interpretācijā (latviešu un gruzīnu valodas diahroniskā aprakstā). This volume covers 15 articles on different synchronic and diachronic issues in grammar and language acquisition. The research is mainly corpus- based (using various Latvian, Lithuanian, English corpora) and text-driven (the history of Latvian, Latin, and Georgian).

At the intersection between usage-based construction grammar and frame semantics, a cognitive semantic analysis is to be theorized. The present work proposes to develop for this purpose the Cognitive Discourse Analysis model. Discourse is then understood following Michel Foucault as a conceptual system based on linguistic, social and epistemic knowledge. In this ERP study, linear and center-embedded musical sequences are built according to two artificial grammar types in language, named finite state grammar (FSG) and phrase structure grammar (PSG). The aim is to prove if neural sources and processing mechanisms for artificial grammar settings across domains are the same. Isochronous pitch sequences were constructed by two interval categories (3rd and 6th) in upward and downward direction. FSG sequences, which have the general form ABAB in artificial grammar, are translated into “small up/small down/large up/large down”. Questo lavoro esplora, in un gruppo terapeutico con pazienti gravi, due tra le variabili di processo più indagate nelle terapie di gruppo, l’alleanza terapeutica e la coesione, analizzandone le associazioni con gli esiti del trattamento in termini di sintomi e difese. E’ stato esaminato un gruppo a lungo termine, semi-aperto, a cadenza settimanale. L’osservazione si è svolta per un periodo di 18 mesi, per un totale di 50 sedute. Abstract Burnout syndrome has been described by different authors as a reaction to work stress. Hence both the role stress components–role ambiguity and role conflict–appear in the literature as burnout antecedent variables. The correlation between these variables is positive. On the other hand, the work social support (from supervisors and colleagues) is a variable with influence on both role stress and burnout, so the people who perceive higher work social support feel lower role stress and lower burnout than the people who perceive lower social support.
