Which firms benefit from investments in green energy technologies? : The effect of energy costs
2019
Firms will invest in green energy technologies only if these investments have an economic payoff. Based on unique firm-level data from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, we find that the marginal effect of investments in green energy technologies on productivity is positive only for the 19% of firms with the highest energy costs. These results have major implications for companies and policy makers regarding the design of green energy policies and incentives. peerReviewed

The current study aims to evaluate the role of environmental orientation (EO) on green dynamic capabilities (GDCs), organization green culture (OGC), and green innovation (GIN) toward business sustainability (BUS) in the context of Chinese textile and apparel manufacturing firms. Natural resources-based view (NRBV) and dynamic capabilities view (DCV) were used as the theoretical lenses of the research. Pro graduni tutkii, miten emotionaalisesti poissaolevan äidin vaikutusta lapsen psykodynamiikkaan ja eriytymisprosessiin tulisi teoreettisesti jäsentää. Tutkimus perustuu psykoanalyyttiseen kirjallisuusaineistoon. Teoreettisena lähestymistapanani toimii André Greenin esittelemä kuollut äiti –ilmiö, joka pohjautuu kliiniseen tarpeeseen ymmärtää rajatilapotilaiden psykodynamiikkaa. Vertailemalla kuollut äiti –ilmiön metodologisia ja epistemologisia erityispiirteitä suhteessa psykoanalyyttisiin lapsiobservaatiotutkimuksiin pyrin luomaan kuvan siitä, miten aika ja ajallisuus sijoittuvat ihmisen mieleen ja millaisia reunaehtoja se asettaa myös psykoterapeuttiselle työskentelylle. Pro gradu –tutkielmani on etnografinen tutkimus Pelastakaa lapset ry:n Läheltä tueksi – hankkeessa kehitetystä Lasten yhteisöllisestä ryhmätoiminnasta. Toimintamallilla pyritään vastaamaan tukiperhejonossa olevien perheiden tuen tarpeisiin. Toiminnan taustalla vaikuttaa ajatus luonnon hyvinvointivaikutuksista ja ryhmätoimintapaikat sijaitsevat luonnonlä- heisissä paikoissa. Tutkimuksen teoreettiseksi lähtökohdaksi asettuu vihreä hoiva, joka on sateenvarjokäsite luontolähtöisille palveluille.
