Mobile Customer Relationship Management: a communication perspective
2007
Although communication has been investigated within relationship-oriented contexts, studies concerning communication within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) are scarce, especially when customer relationships are managed with the aid of the mobile medium. The purpose of this study is to increase general understanding of communication within the mobile context, in which the communicating parties are connected through the mobile medium. The authors present a model of the communication process within the mobile context based on a case study. The main results of the study indicate that the communication process within the mobile context differs significantly from the process through tradit…
Future of e-Government: An integrated conceptual framework
2021
Abstract The information and hyper-connectivity revolutions have caused significant disruptions in citizens’ interactions with governments all over the world. Failures in implementing e-government interventions suggest the lack of an integrated approach in understanding e-government as a discipline. In this study, we present an overarching and integrated conceptual framework of e-government grounded in robust qualitative research to describe the factors that must be integrated to implement e-government successfully. Drawing insights from 168 in-depth interviews conducted with multiple stakeholders in India, this study defines e-government as a multidimensional construct with customer orient…
Intention to use mobile customer relationship management systems
2014
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the behavioral intentions of business-to-business (B2B) sales managers to use mobile customer relationship management (CRM) systems in the course of their day-to-day activities. Design/methodology/approach – An extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) of mobile CRM system adoption is developed and tested with data from 105 international sales managers representing five B2B companies. Findings – The study extends the TAM framework with three additional constructs derived from mobile technology and sales force automation literature, namely personal innovativeness in the domain of IT, perceived risk, and perceived reachability. The model…
Infoética y derechos humanos.
2009
Preparation of Biomolecule Microstructures and Microarrays by Thiol-ene Photoimmobilization
2009
A mild, fast and flexible method for photoimmobilization of biomolecules based on the light-initiated thiol-ene reaction has been developed. After investigation and optimization of various surface materials, surface chemistries and reaction parameters, microstructures and microarrays of biotin, oligonucleotides, peptides, and MUC1 tandem repeat glycopeptides were prepared with this photoimmobilization method. Furthermore, MUC1 tandem repeat glycopeptide microarrays were successfully used to probe antibodies in mouse serum obtained from vaccinated mice. Dimensions of biomolecule microstructures were shown to be freely controllable through photolithographic techniques, and features down to 5 …
THE USE OF REGRESSION ANALYSIS IN MARKETING RESEARCH
2012
The purpose of the paper is to illustrate the applicability of the linear multiple regression model within a marketing research based on primary, quantitative data. The theoretical background of the developed regression model is the value-chain concept of relationship marketing. In this sense, the authors presume that the outcome variable of the model, the monetary value of one purchase, depends on the clients’ expectations regarding seven dimensions of the company’s offer. The paper is structured in two parts. In the first part, a brief literature review enumerates the main multivariate data analysis methods used in marketing research and describes the general linear multiple regression mo…
Developing creativity through ICT and Music Teachers’ Training: a biographical experience
2021
2021
The material analysis of the only surviving copy of the editio princeps of the Historia de la doncella Teodor allows us to date it back to the incunabula era and to attribute its printing to Pedro Hagenbach’s workshop. The close relationship amongst Hagenbach’s workshop, the reformist project of Archbishop Cisneros, and the interests of the Catholic Monarchs sets an editorial and cultural context that supports the adaptation of Teodor to the printing press. This work perfectly agreed with the thematic and ideological guidelines for the renewal of Christian customs and values. The forceful religious and intellectual imposition of the young and learned slave, turned into a “fijadalgo” in the …
Effects of finding the speech-language pathologist likeable on postlaryngectomy speech intelligibility outcomes
2021
Introduction: Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work with patients after total laryngectomy (TL) to regain verbal communication. The influence of the quality of the therapeutic relationship on the success of TL voice rehabilitation in terms of speech intelligibility is not known. Finding each other likeable is an important factor in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships in everyday life. The fit of therapist and client is relevant to the therapeutic relationship. The purpose of this study therefore was to assess the association between the degree of SLPs’ likeability ratings and postlaryngectomy speech intelligibility. <…
Vezatin, a novel transmembrane protein, bridges myosin VIIA to the cadherin-catenins complex
2000
International audience; Defects in myosin VIIA are responsible for deafness in the human and mouse. The role of this unconventional myosin in the sensory hair cells of the inner ear is not yet understood. Here we show that the C-terminal FERM domain of myosin VIIA binds to a novel transmembrane protein, vezatin, which we identi®ed by a yeast two-hybrid screen. Vezatin is a ubiquitous protein of adherens cell±cell junctions, where it interacts with both myosin VIIA and the cadherin±catenins complex. Its recruitment to adherens junctions implicates the C-terminal region of a-catenin. Taken together, these data suggest that myosin VIIA, anchored by vezatin to the cadherin±catenins complex, cre…
