Improving institutions: Effects of small unit size on quality of care of people with severe intellectual disabilities

Two studies analysed the effects of small unit size of six to eight residents on the quality of care in institutions for people with intellectual disabilities. The results showed improvements in small units when compared with larger wards with 10 to 20 residents. Overall, the outcomes were small or modest, and the quality of care remained below standards typically achieved in community environments.

Its incidence ranges between 1.2% and 32.2%, although this number may vary depending on the screening tool used. The monodromy groups of Dolgachev's CY moduli spaces are Zariski dense

Let $\mathcal{M}_{n,2n+2}$ be the coarse moduli space of CY manifolds arising from a crepant resolution of double covers of $\mathbb{P}^n$ branched along $2n+2$ hyperplanes in general position. We show that the monodromy group of a good family for $\mathcal{M}_{n,2n+2}$ is Zariski dense in the corresponding symplectic or orthogonal group if $n\geq 3$. In particular, the period map does not give a uniformization of any partial compactification of the coarse moduli space as a Shimura variety whenever $n\geq 3$. International audience; The main objective of this article is to explain the evolution of the party system of the Valencian Community (Spain) between 1978 and 2015. We will start from a historical neo-institutionalist approach and a methodology focused on historical analysis (path dependence and critical junctures). It will be centered on the changes produced in political parties, in terms of the Valencian cartelization and identity and its present position.
